    add 'most reviewed' some other

    Nice looking website!

How about improving the navigation by putting 'featured','most reviewed','most downloaded' kind of button or dropdown.

I'd love to see some feedback by clicking or hovering one of the design on the top (because for websites with clean design, instant feedback is really satisfying). You might try to make each light at the top brighter if hovered or something similar.

Also, as in my first point, making the list sortable by view count, download number or date released, might be useful to your user.

    Regards, Nump

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, sorting with popularity was one of my option, but I don't have that many posting yet. Def. I'll add it later.

    Just a few suggested tweaks...

Posted on Nov 17, 2009 at 11:15 AM

    Hi Min,

After looking at this great site you have going on I only have a few suggestions.

As I love the lighted up look above your top line showcase, it aligns to the content below it on the left yet not on the right. It is really noticeable to me when compared to the search box.

As a reader to read the typeface selection of that typeface that does not leave enough space between the dot of the i and the stem of the i. It drew my attention away from your content as I wondered about why it was used. It looks like two L's instead of i L. Just like this fine typeface used for reviews.

I was wondering if you placed the reset button aligned to the text rather than to the up arrow if it will draw less attention to its feeling of a bit "off."

Then in the logo Email-Gallery, if you moved the dash a bit to the left towards the "L", I think it would be just the bit you need.

The link "Ads by Google" looks a bit off placement wise compared to the other links. Maybe scooch it to the left a bit?

I really enjoy the color choices here and how you have presented things.

I can see the i to L in the posted typeface, but while typing out the review (before posting) it is a thicker font and that is the typeface choice I am referring to.

Thanks for all the detail comment! Really appreciated~ One more thing though, when you talked about typeface, were you talking about the logo? or overall fonts?

Hi Min, The font used for the top right navigation area. Like the word "submit" looks like it has an L instead of an i.

but i feel you can improve the design of the overall website..

    a) Your logo also need to speak about ur business currently its not doing that

b)Navigation is also not so prominent

    Too busy

This design is too busy and segmented. I would try and go back to the drawing board and try and keep the design simple. Having emails in the header is way too complicated.

I agree with Nate Hamilton. I'm fond of minimalistic design in gallery sites.
