I think the style suits the client well, it's big bold and a good red. I would never have guessed the abreviation was STE without reading the info; I would assume the company initials were SE. I didn't think the E was a C as the previous reviewer did, but everyone sees things differently so i may be the minority. If it was me, i would try outlining some edges of the logo to give it a stronger effect.
I agree with this comment completely. Very strong logo & colour is good, but reads as SE.
I think this looks great as a symbol that can be paired with the name, but I don't think the "ste" is apparent enough to use it for the logo itself. Does that make an sense? I would stack "ST Engineers" below the abbreviation.
i know u want to integrate all the three alphabets together...but this is bit twist....color red is okey its shows strong and bold..might need to play with colors as well... :)
It reads as "STc". The letters T and E could be integrated better.
The "T" is not emphasized enough. It looks "SE."
Hi Rajavel,
I also first read this as STC, Another possibility beyond what Nate has suggested.
How about 2 colors? Maybe, color the red parts of the E. Or add a block in the top part of the S, centered above the T, so the top of the E is more recognizable? Or cut the Extension of S where it ends, and 2nd color the T? I don't know the exact solution. Yet, I think this is heading to be a strong logo in and of itself.
Last, Is the stem of the T the same width as the white space of the E and S? It looks a tad thicker.
I think a simple solution is to look at the "c" (i know it's the bottom of the "E"), and make it the top of an "E".
That will make the staggering of the letters consistent, as the T is slightly lower than the S, so the E should be slightly lower than the T.
The ends of the S and E have straight edges, so I'd make the end of the T that's inside the S have straight edges as well.
I'd also make the bottom right corner of the S straight too, as that'd help make the T more visible.
The top of the T needs to be a little thicker, so it's the same weight as the S and E.
but if you write the whole "ST Engineers" under the sign, i guess it is ok.
Looks really similar to the ESPN logo: http://blogbeckett.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/espn.jpg
When I look at this logo I only see SE. I think that the T needs to have some contrast with the background color.
Ok, I agree
