    Nice design!

There is a lot of good here! The engaging acordion navi in the middle, the logos, nice footer and a simple light visuality! I like it!

the vertical bars in the banner

Posted on Nov 10, 2009 at 1:54 PM

your website is very soft. I feel like the vertical bars in the banner need to have slightly rounded corners. This can be achieved through CSS3 though in the coding.

btw, not sure if you used this for 'inspiration' but your website looks eerily similar to http://www.slidedeck.com/

EVERYTHING IS IDENTICAL. see my post below.

we should be able to flag concepts as blatant copies. Sorry to call you out man. But this stuff wont slide here.

hehe sure bud. its not just that. all of your proportions and placements are identical. including the identical top right button style, placement and phrase.

do you plan to use the slidedeck.com XHTML/CSS and JS code as well? cause I mean.... honestly.... you might as well. You'd save yourself lots of time. In fact, this design looks so close you could prob just switch out the background images and voila!

    Still like two versions back

Posted on Nov 10, 2009 at 7:17 AM

This isn't bad but I think the purple color for you slideshow navigation/tabs is a little dark. I would go more with a gray color like two versions ago. If I haven't told you already, I love the straight footer at the bottom.

The boxed layout in the middle

Posted on Nov 10, 2009 at 11:33 AM

    Hi there!

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication", very true! And I believe that you've pulled the concept off nicely.

I think my only gripe about the layout would be the boxy and straight layout of your main content in the middle. It doesn't go well with the grungy paintbrush strokes on the logo as well as on the footer.

How about changing the box, or place more grunge elements inside the box.

    In all, great job!
