Web design for a studio design template

Can the logo be used without that black box and in black letters? Or as black letters on white box? Because I think that would make a huge difference in the balance of this layout.

Header The intro is rather unremarkable. I'd like to see a bit more styling. I suggest giving the portfolio button the same radius and width as the work button. Lastly, I'd align the intro with the logo and align the call to action buttons with the navigation.

Footer I feel like the footer could use some more padding at the top and bottom parts. There's a lack of consistency there because the thumbnails in the work page are surrounded by so much space!

Overall, I'm not digging the blue color with the chocolate/caramel color scheme. I think you're going in the right direction by choosing a cool color for elements that are important. To me, that blue just doesn't seem like it fits with the rest of the colors.

but i am sorry to tell that u need to play around liitle bit more..like the radius and width of work button is not equal with portfolio one..i am not sure is it intentional or not... there are lot of action buttons can be reduced a bit... rest is well..

Have to work on colors and the work page. The thumbnails are not appealing...

everything overall seems pretty nice and I understand it is a template to be used but overall....

1) its almost too generic

2) if this is a design studio, there should probably some type of design work on the home page. it feels too bland.

This is a good start here. A few things that might raise a caution flag for me. The blue and the brown aren't working the greatest I don't think. There are also a lot of lines that are breaking up this design. Try and tone down the lines a bit. Last but not least, the shadow isn't working for you. You have a shadow on the top and the bottom causing confusion. Good start though, just keep moving in the same direction.

The giant "work with us" box does not fit well with the design. I don't really like the blue bands going around the examples of your work. I would just have an image with a "learn more" link. Other than that, I would add some more white space in the footer and shrink the "work with us" button.

I don't know if the text is final or if you have any choice in the matter, but the we make beautiful and usable websites" is way to generic.

The logo doesn't blend too well with the overall design. Maybe try it with some other shades of brown if possible

Functionally it works, but I don't like the colours. Also I'm not sure about the rounded button WORK WITH US next to the not so rounded PORTFOLIO button - try the same button style for both? I like the dark brown horizontal section down the bottom.
