    font and color

Posted on Nov 06, 2009 at 7:32 AM

Pretty solid right off the bat.

    But...

The color blue doesn't give a warm feeling. Blue is cold, cool, medicinal. Try some autumn hues.

I like a use of a think, handwritten font, but the one you chose has too much waviness for my taste. Actually, I only really see it in the i's and l (maybe the t also), so maybe just straighten them out.

The Y needs some help. The tail coming off the top of the letter obscures what it is. However, I still read it correctly, so maybe it works.

I like the first one of the revisions. I still don't like the i's, but I guess that's just a matter of preference.

    Colour

I would echo the comments made by Sean.

However, I like the idea and with a few small changes to the font I think it could be very good.

    Beautiful!

Very nice logo! There really isn't anything I would change. Very clean, simplistic and memorable. Great concept!

I think it looks really good. Just some little kerning issues: it is a bit Ho spital ity now.

Of the new ones I like the golden more, but still I think that blue is the best color.

    Color maybe

Posted on Nov 06, 2009 at 9:06 AM

    Hi Rajavel.

Overall, I like this. I agree with Sean though. If warm is something you are wanting to express -- or the client wants the logo to express -- you might want to consider another color (maybe even a shade of green).

    Good job.

Rajavel. I like the revised yellowish color best among the three. The only thing you might consider trying is to make that orange shape a lighter shade of yellow instead. I look at it before I notice the rest of the logo because the orange color really stands out in stark contrast to the yellow. I still wonder what a green version of this would look like. Regardless, this is a well-designed logo. Good job.

    Kerning

Posted on Nov 06, 2009 at 10:41 AM

Looks good, but I agree with Miro. The kerning needs cleaned up a little. As far as warm feeling, I feel the color you selected leans more comforting then warm, it almost gives the impression of a "medical" company.

    nothing

i like it a lot and think it works great!

Only thing I agree with on Sean is the Wavyness of the letter "i"'s that bothers me alot as well and I don't know why.

    not blue

Posted on Nov 11, 2009 at 7:16 PM

I don't mind the first one, it has a autumn'ish but warm feel to it... The second one in pink I find undersaturated, it is a bit 'old' looking... And the blue, I'd definitely discard, it does make me think of a retirement home or hospital...
