Font and color for transport needs a little change

Good concept for the the transport industry. The word transport needs to be tuned to some other font and color.

    Nice work overall

I really like the choice of font and the object in this logo. The only thing I am not quite sure about is the harsh purple color. But, that doesn't stop me from thinking that this is a really nicely designed logo. Great work!

sounds like this concept is already closed, if the client is using it already...but anyways:

i think it looks great, and can stand as is....however, if I were to tweak it, i'd experiment with different colors for transport. maybe simply using the lighter shade of blue found at the top of the bird...

i don't like how the R and T interact in transport either. there's a little air around the O, which could allow you to nudge the R to the left. Or you could nudge the T to the right..

A couple things I'd test out, just to see if maybe they looked better, would be extending the P's leg down so that it lined up with the bottom of transport; and I'd make the top corners of the P in SPM square instead of rounded.

    Blue color

I would adjust the blue color a little, but maybe this is their color and you can not modify it?

    transport

love the bird. nicely abstract. more modern than most transport logos.

    spm is very transport-like.

agree with other comments: -the p should extend down even with the bottom of the t. -The letters in "transport" need equal spacing around them. -Don't love the font of transport, but the color doesn't bother me...I feel like it /should/ be less important than the rest of the logo. Though light blue would also work. And angle on it is good.

    Nice work!

    Angle of bird

Posted on Nov 04, 2009 at 12:23 PM

Hi Rajavel. I really like this logo.

I won't rehash some of the other feedback you already have received. But let me suggest something that hasn't been mentioned: the angle of the bird. You have slanted text, which implies a very linear motion -- very good message to reinforce for a transport company. But the motion of the bird seems to point more upward.

I wonder if slanting the bird a bit more to make its motion a little more linear and in line with the type would make this logo even stronger? Just a thought.

    Great job!

    Spacing among letters and words

Posted on Nov 09, 2009 at 1:16 AM

    Hi Rajavel,

I agree with Sean about the spacing of transport and color.

Also, while tweaking "transport" look at the letters above and try to have the stem of the "t" line up with the line created by the white space inside of the "p" and the blue part of the "p". As well as, the "P"(in transport) to the "M's" middle.

Overall, I would fool with the size of the "SPM" in relation to the word "transport" until as much alignment between the two items are achieved.

Maybe, even consider bringing in the space between the letters SPM so it fits the space created in the"S" itself.

Overall, I like the bird and choice of font.

Hi rajavel, i like your logo concept & colours. i think every thing is good either transport font. Try an other font in different style.

      after all, good work.

Yes I like this.. Not too much colour and gives the impression of a large corporate company.

I have decided to project only the SPM and the bird. Nothing behind it....

Angle of bird + sub title

Posted on Nov 08, 2009 at 7:09 AM

Well, the angle of the bird make's it look un-realistic, and very "weird. I would make the bird perhaps a little thicker? The subtitle "transport" look's like it's not so important, the color is different and the font.. I wouldnt make it ITALIC, but REGULAR, and maybe decrease the size of the font? I would make it maybe the same font as the "SPM" title, and make it go higher, so it would fit just right and wont make any new borders for the logo, so everything stays just in place. I hope you understood what I mean, I am just trying to help - not to insult.

After all - good work, could use some tiny touches.
