    alignments

A big improvement, that is true, this looks like a news site! A couple alignment issues: Extend the body area more left, to the left edge of the word home. And left align the headlines.

Thanks! Do you mean aligning it where the "h" in home starts? Or at the end of the word home?

    White Space

The text in the news articles seem a bit crowded. You should increase the white space between the headings, writing and images. Extending the content space to the left like Miro said is a good idea.

Other than that it looks very nice! The heading is very attractive.

    Alignment, alignment, alignment

You should be working off a grid, it looks like you weren't in this case. The navigation isn't aligned with the content. You have some text centered aligned and some not. You have a respectable start here but you need to go back and work on the alignment issues. I would also take the size of the logo down substantially.

    Alignment

Along with the comments previously posted, the placement of the logo is throwing me off as well. Perhaps if its size were brought down it would feel more balanced, or if there were actually content in the sidebar. But for some reason the logo being centered here really is not doing it for me at all.
