I would change the 'live chat' image

Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 9:43 AM

Very nice design. Clean and objective. But I didn't like that image that you used in 'Live Chat'.

    Gradients

Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 5:10 PM

The gradient in the top section is a bit harsh, you might want to soften it a little. The rule of gradients in web design is subtlety, the change from colours should not be that obvious. You could also try taking the gradient out altogether and trying a more minimalistic approach. I find that everything below the gradient is a lot more pleasant than above it.

The 'we give you 10 reasons' box, I think, is quite important and should be more attractive. Afterall, if the user isn't convinced by the headline then you need something to catch their attention to quickly to persuade them. Maybe having ticks as bullet points?

The box you use for the 10 reasons and live chat would look nice is you had it for the navigation too (it would work better without the gradient). You've got two different design styles: web 2.0 and minimalist. You only need one!

    Great work on this site

Posted on Nov 02, 2009 at 6:47 AM

This is really good work. Looks extremely clean and well organized. The only thing I might try and do is pull the orange/yellow off the logo a bit more into the design. Other than that you have a really nice finished product here. Great work!

    Looking really good there....

The only weak point - but I guess it is out of your control - is the logo. It looks like it is from the 90s - not modern enough but also not old enough to be retro.

drop the XHTML / CSS lines at the bottom

Posted on Nov 03, 2009 at 8:13 AM

(I believe) a website should always be W3C compliant and properly coded. That way every browser can be served in a visually correct manner. Those browser icons are therefor unnecessary. It feels the same as ten years ago when everybody placed 'this website is optimized for blabla and 1024 pixels etc.) Your design looks good and well thought out, but not very innovative. Keep up the good work though!

ya obviously its not required to insert those elements, but we used this for some marketing purpose :-) Thanks for your feedback.

    Like the web 2.0 look

Posted on Nov 03, 2009 at 8:41 AM

Feels good I would make the logo something a bit bigger.

The yellow box below feels to simple compared to the stuff above, i would grab the video button from the top and place it below

add a gradiant grey, make it start from where the blue gradiant ends.. something like that is done on www.onehub.com or planhq.com i think the latter. good luck!

in last two days i was wondering how to fix the blue gradient sharp ends, now you gave a very useful input. Thx for the grey gradient idea.

The Left Navigation have more space. I think it is because the site is still undergoing changes/inclusion. If it so then it is ok.

Its come out well. color scheme content promotion and logo placement is good. But promo line can be highlighted in a better way. Over all it looks nice.

    The browser icons

Posted on Nov 04, 2009 at 6:25 AM

There is nor proper use/ need for the browser icons. And the green color is not going well with the layout mood. Except these its a beautiful & clean web design.

Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 9:18 AM

This looks so good. Looking at your site, only thing is the footer, maybe you should add some kind of gradient to soften it a little. And if you want to, adjust the color of the "We give you 10 reasons" box a bit.
