Home Page re-design for Tube2Tone.com

I like the clean design in this layout, but I, as a new user, have no idea what should I with all the tools. It needs some description.

I like the search bar is on top of the page and very noticeable. I hate it when it's hard to find the search bar on some websites. It usually means the search function sucks, too.

I also like the color choice and overall concept, but it can be more attractive by creating more elements the eye can focus on, or add some contrast.

rest is fine

Layout is clean and functional. The background white could be enhanced. I think it would be fairly easy to navigate as long as the conversion utilities are within the clicked link.

I like where you are taking this but think there are a few things you could do here. I think the search bar is a bit overstated and could be quite a bit smaller. I think a paragraph explaining the purpose of the site is a necessity. Have you thought at all about a very subtle texture in the background. Something very light and understated would add to this design.

I think those eight sliders right to the main area need a headline explaining what they are. The layout looks good for active + returning users but what about first time users, some helping text maybe?

Now it looks good! I like it. Yet, I'll have two comments. First of all, those 8 mini players next to the video box need some sort of description. We know what they are since you explained in the previous version of this concept. But, users won't be able to comprehend what they are without any description. Maybe you can decrease the vertical distance between them and thus open up some space for a description text at the top. Secondly, the banner, Tube2Tone Top10, at the right bottom corner could be wider, so that it can cover entire bottom area of the site. As it is now, it creates a huge unnecessary empty space below Popular Collections. Another cure for this problem could be that decreasing the height of the ad will result in enough space for Tube2Tone Top10 banner.

too many too many the logo is too much big or the header is too much small increase the width of the over all white panel so it give u more white space inside

The design is very functional, no doubt. But it could certainly use some recoloring. Check out Adobe Kuler for color themes and moods.

It's a little simple and I don't see it working as it should before you land more details.

Maybe use a grey color on the background, so the boxes would fade a little bit? I think that it would make it more smooth.

needs more width and a bigger video player.. its to small

Overal clean design. Dont like your logo.. Would make it look more like youtube

like [ ] tube and then the word tube2tone like [ ] tube2tone.. ofcourse dont copy it..
