    menu items

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 at 8:31 AM

the menu is kinda lost. I'd either increase the font size of menu items or change the font colour, let's say to blue.

it looks clean and simple, yet works!

    Needs personality

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 at 8:38 AM

This a super clean and well organized site. It does look a bit sterile and impersonal. I think you need to inject some excitement and personality into it. Maybe a larger, more fun and personalized image? You'll have to play around with it. Great start!

    gradient

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 at 9:39 AM

I would try this without the background gradient. Also align the menu with the picture (= move it a little up).

I'm not sure it needs to look less 2-dimensional. 2-dimensional look can be good too.

    spacing

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 at 11:46 AM

I like it a lot and have to say I agree about the menu and background needing a little work. I'd like to see it with some more spacing between the navigation and content, and also spacing in the body, I think a little more would go a long way for an even cleaner look.

Header and footer needs more weight

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 at 5:26 PM

The header and footer looks rather empty. I personally feel they give websites an encompassed feel. Perhaps you could add the phone number / email to the header and the address to the bottom.

In fact, you should. It might not be so telling now but as you add in more content to the website, people will naturally try to find the address at the bottom and phone number to the top right.

    the ratio

Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 3:11 AM

i guess the size of the main content is too big distracting from the left bar , seems like the logo is outside and the address and tel is aligned wrong seems really strange right to left ?

i love the over all mode nice coloring nice logo and nice presenting just finish it right and polish it right ;)

    it u gone be awesome

The blue gradient needs to change

Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 6:25 PM

I like the minimalist design: few separating lines or graphical elements, yet the design is well read.

The background color and gradient I do not like. Go with a solid color or a subtle tile background.

    Something Missing

Posted on Nov 02, 2009 at 1:29 PM

There seems to be something missing. The navigation definitely gets lost, but everything seems to blend together. As a whole, it looks nice. But perhaps it is the excessive use of blue (esp in the bg) that is losing the hierarchy for me.
