It's a great start. I would explore more fonts.

      thanks patrick!

different typefaces for the mark itself, the name, or both the logo mark and the type?

      just to clarify! ;-)

      thanks again!

Add more colour, make it a little bit more fun.

Great idea, really. I really liked the first one, with the UNbolded font. I would maybe make it a different colour like light blue to make it a little bit more fun, because black doesn't transmit any positivity :) Hope I helped, great job on the idea.

Thanks for the comments Romy! This is just the initial stage really, I was fleshing out some concepts that came to me in meditation =P color will be added after I get the mark worked out with the type ;-)

any thoughts on the coloring? i was thinking blue hues, but im not sure - again, keeping the colors to a minimum.

      danke!

As I thought, light blue colours. I dont think a gradient will be a good choice, and even fi you do choose a gradient, dont use anything radical. I sugesst using a light blue and make the + a nice red, to make it more noticeable from the rest of the logo, which is important, because you want to pass the idea that it is POSITIVE. Still dont know if using a red is a good idea, but you can do something to play with the noticeability of the +.

ya im worried about red - it's pretty popular in the Non Profit Market, i.e. (Red) for Aids, Red for Red Cross, etc. etc.

Ill play with some colors after the mark is finished!

    Try some colour?

Not sure how much colour you can use, but maybe try and make the B and the + different colours?

I alctually like the bottom 2 designs, but all are fairly nice for a t-shirt design.

thanks alan! trying to keep colors minimal as the purpose of this venture is to support other businesses abroad - so low overhead on production would be great =)

The company will initially offer t-shirts and such, but will also produce other accessories/items - so Ill keep those bottom two in mind.
