    remove drop shadow

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 9:43 AM

remove drop shadow for title it'll definitely stand out from rest of design elements. I like the colors and add more music instruments.

    I like it

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 8:07 AM

I don't where you are going to use this or the application of it. However you don't have any information on how to go to this carnival. Other than that, the design itself is top notch, but design is nothing if the person is compelled to go but has no idea how to.

    As cores

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 8:18 AM

Tu podia pegar um esquema de cores no colourlovers.com e aplicar aí! As atuais estão um pouco sem nexo =/

Mas a tipografia está excelente! parabéns!

But where is the party, and when? Have you tried using even more instruments?

    Very cool!!!

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 11:27 AM

Feliphe! Nice work! Make me feel like party!

I would try a version without the "cactus" thing and the drop shadow. But still very good!

    Overall look, pretty messy.

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 6:14 PM

The are some un-needed brushes (the black and white letters) on the top. They are un-needed, atleast that's what I think. Great combination of colours. The "Carnaval Gramado" is a bit unreadable due to the brushes going out of them. Great work after all.

Got some awesome colors! I agree with Kumar, you should remove the drop shadow.

    The colours

Posted on Oct 25, 2009 at 2:12 AM

I guess the colors are a bit confusing. Specially the brown shadow of the main typography.

Add more party elements, and maybe people?

Posted on Oct 25, 2009 at 10:55 AM

Not sure of the purpose, is this an event poster only or will it also be a design for a website?

I really like the vibrant colors. I also really like the logo.

How about some illustration/vector elements like food, drinks, musical notes, talk bubbles or a crowd of people? Maybe I'm missing something, but what are the shapes with thorns on them?

Its was a nice image, but I wanted to change background color, if you see away from that, so was it realy nice :)

    Good Work!

I would make the main text easier to read

Posted on Oct 27, 2009 at 8:40 AM

The movement and colors are great, but the brown is a little flattening and the text is a little too scripty to read. Other than that, the images and the flow work well

    colors?

Posted on Oct 27, 2009 at 10:41 AM

looks professional and fun. the guitar and the pandeiro detached are fun, I don't know what are those 3 cactuses, but they look colorful and ok.

the only thing I thought it's a little bit strange is the brown-beige combination used in the name. Aren't they too serious for a carnaval party?

but the overall design is really beautiful, it's even good as it is, IMO

Main type can be slightly bigger, instruments can be smaller. Tough read on the "L" in CARNAVAL. Move flourishes further to the right. Take out all black elements. I agree with comment above, I wouldn't use brown for a theme like this.

    nice but minor modifications

Posted on Oct 27, 2009 at 11:26 AM

I would suggest removing the guitar and drum graphics as they seem out of character and not inline with the rest of the design

    Cores

Posted on Oct 27, 2009 at 12:16 PM

You've got a start at the energy but I'd say push it again to a new level. I am getting a small idea of a central "sploosh" but not enough to like it.

Elements seem disparate styles (is that a cactus?), which can be okay if there's enough variety, but there isn't.

When I think of carnival I think of people.
