    Menu

Posted on Oct 22, 2009 at 7:10 AM

I like this design, but there is one or two things i would change.

I would spice up the menu a little more.

I would also ask the company to change their name, lol. Calling yourself Coma Cafe doesn't inspire me to visit it.

    Good design, and certainly different.

    Simplify what you have here

Posted on Oct 22, 2009 at 9:02 AM

Good start here. I would remove the outer strong and bring the logo out of the picture and put it above the picture in the upper left. I would also remove the person in the design. I am not quite keen on the navigation. I wouldn't use tabs and simplify the navigation. This is a GREAT photo to use, looks really good. Keep it up!

    The orange bar

Posted on Oct 22, 2009 at 12:06 PM

The eye flow on this design seems to be reversed. My eye is immediately attracted towards the large orange bar across the bottom, then drawn up to the text boxes and finally then to the logo. You could try moving your large orange bar up to the top moving the navigation next to the logo and the search far right at the top.

    round boxes

I would remove the round boxes and forms and let the nice photo shine. And a simple navigation to that. Maybe also lose the standing man. The logo, photo and typeface should do the work.

    Very Creative

Posted on Oct 23, 2009 at 3:52 PM

Just a few suggestions, I would pull on the colors from the bottom of the page and work them into the navigation. Or at least do something with the navigation.

Second I'd work on the content boxes, maybe drop the transparent box around the slogan.

Third.. I'd loose one of the exclamation marks... that might just be a personal opinion though.

    The buttons on top

Posted on Oct 22, 2009 at 7:11 AM

The buttons on top. yellow and white not enough contrast in my opinion. The text box in the lower right also doesent stand out to much.

I dont like the box around the text in the left middle. Would make orange a darker tinte. I also dont really like the round boxy feeling of it. It conflicts with the straight lines of the boxes inside.. perhaps less curves and everything curved also the boxes inside. Nice photo though :)
