    Getting better...

Posted on Oct 20, 2009 at 12:20 PM

I am now starting to focus more on the content. Don't stop there though, keep doing things like what you did with the heading in order to make that content pop.

    Shadows under camera and computer

Posted on Oct 20, 2009 at 3:57 PM

Looks good. I know it's hard branding yourself and I think you've done a stellar job. I'd bring back the shading you had for the laptop and camera, those are taller objects and their shadows should extend further.

Other than that, Nate has some good feedback with bringing the focus on the content more, but as a media provider I think it's ok to have a heavy graphics site like this and focus on content second. Mainly since stunning graphics is your content.

    scale

nice compositions... just watch the scale, pencils arn't usually larger than laptops. I understand the attention you are trying to draw to the contact us button but i think it can be adressed in a more effective way.

    Scales

Posted on Oct 21, 2009 at 5:45 AM

Just seems that the camera and laptop are out of place due to them being really small compared to the rest. I would try and keep it in more proportion.

The design is very good though, you just need oto make that content stand out a little more, as its one of the last things my eyes is drawn too on the design.

I would definately change the size of the camera, not entirely sure on the laptop though, you could even remove that.
