    For me it's just perfect.

If you have time may be you can try to make an exclusive typography for the " This is pure design" ( But i know it's very long )

This is the kind of design i appreciate very much. Simple and precise composition, good typefaces and big photos. I wish i can work on a project like this someday. Especially for Scandinav design.

    Very very good work.

    more text

Posted on Oct 15, 2009 at 7:46 AM

I love design 3, its excellent.

I would add some more content to it, not too much more, but just enough to convey exactly what they do, and also for SEO purposes.

The content is important, the client is supposed to write that and I agree it's an important on the SEO point of view.

    address/phone# box

Posted on Oct 15, 2009 at 2:39 PM

I love the design, but I think you need to handle the phone numbers and address differently. The white box on the left is an eyesore. The thin box on the left, however, I like.

You have a Contact link in the nav, so maybe you don't need to show all that info on the page. You have a lot of room in the top white area, where you could work in the main phone number and address in a single line..

Just re-read my post. I meant to say "The thin box on the RIGHT, however, I like."

Every else is great except one little thing, the menu. How about not making it centered when nothing else on the site is? Try moving it to left (or right).

I thought it was good, but I wasn't 100% sure what it was for at first.

    Left white block with text

Posted on Oct 16, 2009 at 1:18 PM

    Hi Miika,

    I agree with sean here.

I thought the box on the left was just a side note you plopped on there as a note about the design. I was stunned to find out it was part of the design. If you're are stuck on keeping it. I think if you maybe toned the background of it down it would blend better with the design. ( Such as maybe in a dark grey or even black and making the type white or light grey?

From first glance at the top pic, before reading about the design, I thought I was looking at the inside of a gun barrel. I think the third pic is lovely and lets me know without confusion what this site is about...

on "This is Pure Design": Have you messed with aligning the type block to the stem of the T rather than the tip of the top of the T. The vertical stem has a stronger line, so visually it will look lined up better from afar.

Overall, I think these are great and would go for 3 and then maybe 1.

Miika, I like the new top design. The close up of the table looks interesting and pure. Then by having removed that left block makes it look clean.

I think this one is a winner.

      Miika,

Now, Just bring the words in a bit to each other on the title and make the text block a few, to a couple, points bigger and it will top this one off.

      It looks Great!

    Furniture? Design? Interior design?

Posted on Oct 20, 2009 at 2:49 PM

I have trouble seeing what the site is really for and you never really say. With that, if it is the furniture itself, great. If for interior design no.

I like the box at the bottom.

    Love it

Posted on Oct 21, 2009 at 8:20 AM

Really love the 1,2,4, not very keen on the 3, but it's my view (looks like cigarettes, sorry :) ) I really like the purity and the use of space, feels like a very nice product with high quality and technologies I guess the wanted impression works very well

ok. very nice but not perfect/

Posted on Oct 21, 2009 at 2:55 PM

first, those are 100% photoshop designs? i mean it is only logical that with the highlight pure design, it must have something to do with 100% works. the first is nice but empty. take it somewhere. second VERS is perfect. if its 100% pen tool, i am amaized. good job. third is very bad. placement is bad and the objects are wierd.

the forth is the best in placement and filling the empty space. i would take that one/

I like where you are going but needs work

Posted on Oct 15, 2009 at 8:17 AM

You have some good momentum in the right direction here, but I think there is a lot of work to do yet. I don't like the stacked "This is pure design". I like the full sized picture on the page but the way the elements line up is little bit off I think. Keep working on this design.

didnt like the way you have type your text ..its would have been better if u placed the text hori. The image is quite impressive and going with the theme..you nave bar is too short to identify..

this is looking much better then prev good wrk :) you can also play around with your logo as well as you nav bar a bit (might be better if you can use bigger font size for your logo and make your nav bar size also increase )
