    One Element to Bind Them...

Posted on Jun 10, 2009 at 3:06 PM

There are three separate ideas going on here---the idea on the top, in the middle, and on the bottom. It looks as if three separate companies' business cards were cut up and placed together. In other words, each third of the card looks too different from the other two thirds.

Try to bring some element into this piece that can connect each strip of information.

    Beautifull vintage look

Nice design, you can tell right away that it has something to do with wine. Love wooden background behind the name, makes name stand out on the card.

    Would not change a thing.

limit the amount of fonts used

Posted on Jun 08, 2009 at 7:51 PM

I loke this a lot, it is very eye-catching and certainly does get the message accross very well. From a personal (design) point of view though it feels as though there's too many different fonts used, each section of the card has a different font and seems a little disjointed to me due to this. I am also not too sure about the wood effect behind the name again seems to clash a little with the photo background at the top of the card. But having siad all that it is a great design.

    Fonts?

Love the design and I really like the paper texture on the bottom of the card. The only thing I would maybe change is the font of the persons name - perhaps a thinner condensed sans-serif font? But that's just personal preference. Well done.
