Focus of interestI like the overall design and layout, however I feel like there's too much going on. You need to determine what's the most important message you want to communicate. I like the idea of having the quote of a satisfied client as soon as you go into the homepage. It would be a good idea to showcase a couple projects (most recent) however, I don't see the need to have all those boxes with the services you offer, since the user can go into "Services" and find more about it. You just need to keep it simple and make it all about your portfolio. I would make the resume button blue, or change the way it looks (gradient) because I feel like it doesn't have the same style as the webpage. The same with the computer image on the footer. Hope it helps!

WorkAs for the showcase of your work, I don't like the way the categories are displayed, it's overwhelming. You could have an option so that the user could pick if they want to browse your work by type of project (web, print, etc) or by the most recent, but I would prefer seeing a thumbnail of the project instead of just text. Maybe you would like to pick only a few projects? It looks like you have so many projects that you'd like to showcase, do you think they are going to take a look at all of them? Just pick the best ones ;)

Doesn't make me think of web design when I saw it at the very first moment.

Too much information going on. Not feel very much about the personal style.

| Good hierarchy. | |
Here is your opportunity:
Get clear on what the purpose of this website is.
If it is as you say to attract new clients:
1) Know your client - who is it? SME's? Mum and dad shops? Get clear.
2) Ask yourself what do THEY THINK THEY WANT? Specifically, what would they type into google to try and solve their problem?
3) Use that information to craft your headline/ content on the page.
Have a FORM on your home page to answer for users what they need to do next.
4) YOU CANNOT, CANNOT have a dual purpose website. Your website should have 1 purpose, drive leads, provide info and have clear call to action. So choose, for new business or future employers which one is it.
5) Relook at your business to see what your real goals are, and I can assure you it is not having a pretty site. It's to make money. So start with the end in mind, how do I attract new business, who are the best in the business right now, and copy their websites (with your own creative adjustments).

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. I think you bring some good points. However, I disagree with that a website, specifically mine, cannot serve duel purposes. The purposes are not contradictory or separate. I also believe that it is not about trying to convert every person into a client. Honestly, it is about showcasing my work and skills. Thanks again.
The top section is awesome. I'm thinking the navigation could be a little bit clearer - darker font, clearer options (work & projects imply a similar thing) perhaps 'portfolio' would be clearer?
I like the Mac screen but it looks weird with a square background. Maybe just get a transparent / white background Mac image for this section?
The different service square images look very random! There seems to be no order or logic to where they're placed. I'd have a section where I showed the 5 services in a line, and then place testimonials / blog / about in a separate section below.
I'm not a fan of a lot of little squares like this. I want you to show me where my eye should go. Nice, bright colors.

My eyes get's lostWhen i first looked at the design, i didn't know where to look at first.

| 1 | My eyes skipped very easily the navigation |

| 1 | Need more clear Message here. Too much marketing talk. Please let facts speak.

| Positive Feature on Mockup6.jpg | |
| 1 | Nice Eyecatcher |
| Minor Problem on Mockup6.jpg | |
| 1 | The menu is too long and has too many items. Limit it to 3-4 if possible.
|
| Critical Problem | |
TMIThere is just too much information on the page and it is not grouped into structured blocks. What you do (the colored blocks) are also in between of the projects, blog, testimonial tiles. Most people think linearly and would love to see information in a grouped areas. Think of newspaper sections.

| New Idea on Mockup6.jpg | |
| 1 | Why not make the portfolio much more prominent? Most customers probably care about this part a lot.
