I've created a Indiegogo campaign to raise money to get to 2 events I'm invited to for giving presentations about Online Persuasion.
It's done with Indiegogo, so I have no influence about the layout and design of most of the page (so no need to comment on that). I can only influence the main content/images and the perks so feedback on that is very welcome.
Sex sells but I don't think the main image at the top of the page is right for the concept. It takes the idea a bit off topic. I know she is looking at the text and that is a good thing but I'm sure you could have a different person looking at the message.
For me I would probably click straight off because I don't see the relevance here.
I would put the goal last. Not only does this traditionally go last but it's actually a very nice gesture which may persuade people to fund you, so this is a good thing for people to have in their mind at the end point when they are deciding to fund you or not.
