I think you need to research more into branding/logo design as well as the beer culture itself, whether that be mainstream brewers or independent craft brewers such as Dogfish Head, Epic Brewing or Brewdog to name a few. This needs more work and thought put in to it. The font face is not retro, the beard thing doesn't really work against the hard edges of the typeface and isn't really retro either, it's disjointed and just doesn't work in my opinion.

Text Seems Disjointed in #1It doesn't really seem part of the logo - just something added on top. I think part of the issue arises because it's imposed on what would be a face. It's close-ish to where the eyes would be, but again, just seems to be oddly floating in space.

Scratchy beard has nice textureI think this element is memorable and likely to appeal to a good chunk of your audience. I think it looks best against the white and the blue. It doesn't seem there's enough contrast between the darker green and red to get the full effect.
I think the trickiest part is going to be finding a way to integrate the text in a way that doesn't mess up the beard silhouette.
Perhaps a clearer block font (without the wood-grain texture) on top of the beard would work, but I think you're still locked into needing the white space on top to suggest the rest of the face and really make it seem like a beard.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like an ideal solution to have the brand name squeezed at the bottom of such long logo topped with white space.
Keep tinkering.
hey thanks a lot for the feed back. Yes the most difficult part was to get the typo in place without distorting the graphics. I've uploaded a revised image where I've also worked on the side locks and typo for better comprehension of the design. Again, I am still working out a way on how the text and graphics stand out as one instead of independent elements. Would really appreciate your feedback.

| 1 | I like the texture in the beard and mustache, but it's wrong here for a logo. It actually looks like two separate logos. Not unified at all. |

| 1 | Adding the words to the beard is probably the closet I've seen to you merging these two concepts together, but again, this isn't pop, retro or minimalist -- it's the exact opposite. It's super grungy. I would think this was a logo for a group of beer-swilling bikers, not for a beer company catering to an Indian market. |

| 1 | The text is clearer here, but the font is better suited for a collegiate varsity jacket than a beer company. You need a better font choice here. |

| 1 | This font isn't pop, retro, or minimalist -- it's more grunge. If you're aiming for a specific thematic look and feel, try researching advertisements from the time era you want to emulate to get an idea of typography. |
Wordmark logos are really good for beers. I would highly suggest doing some research on beer labels around the world (specifically in Asian markets) and studying the specific things their logos tend to have which make them stand out.
I believe you need to go back to the drawing board, and under take some in depth research. Not only into the brewery industry, but also the fundamentals of logo and branding design. (David Airey is a good start).
A logo with this amount of detail will not work when reduced in size, so think much more simple.
Also research into typography, as the current faces don't shout Retro or pop to me. So have a look historically into this.
I hope I have given you some good things to think about on this project. Good luck!
I like the logo inside the beard. In the other two logos the company name is seen outside of the beard and kind of separates the two. In the middle logo the beard seems to be associated more with the beard and the tough guy image they are portraying the company as.
