Offering mothers support with weight loss via making lasting lifestyle changes.
Images are front & back of business card. Back of card very useful UK traffic lights chart for choosing healthy foods based on salt, fat & sugar content.
Researching the high end market for parenting magazines + fashion & notices that the fonts are simple. Wanted font to be simple and standard to go with the high end trend. Wanted logo to reflect the word vitality.
The font you chose for "Vitality" is completely generic. I'm not sure serif is in your best interest here. You want to engender comfort, femininity, and health. Look into Museo sans and softer, less stern typefaces.
Way too spread out
I realize it's for a business card but the logo is way to spread out. See if you can condense the tagline a little more. You can leave the space to the right or use it for something else.
Nice color and design on the woman icon. Somewhat generic.
This does not fully make sense. The '-' confuses the message. although I can see why you've done it. As a sentence it would be: Simple, lasting weight loss. Where as you want to highlight 'simple' and 'lasting'. Perhaps: Simple, lasting, weight loss. Which again is not full correct but better. Or even: Simple. Lasting. Weight loss. One word sentences to highlight the importance of each?
This corner weights quite heavy and takes away from the neat design of the card. Would suggest cutting off the facebook and twitter writing. If you use the social media symbols alone, people will know to find you there. They are going to search for you anyway.
I think this looks great but a couple of points. I think the logo's way too wide. Try making the strapline smaller and sitting more range left perhaps? Also i like th range of colours they look a little mirky. Also the lady in the graphic looks very flabby-not sure tha's a good thing.
Might be worth going back to the drawing board on this. The word is littered with no descript write outline people with hands and the air. In fact, I see two doctors who both have similar logos. It just won't stand out and be remembered. It looks like a great business and I like the name. Make your branding brighter, more unique and with more character and you've got something.
