| The user flows better through the page having the options at the top | |

| What about keeping it all above the image? | |
Why haven't considered to put tools on the left side of image area?

| 1 | Empty space -- better to have UI elements, as in #4. |

Not clear what you are sellingThis is a "canvas"? What is being sold here? (For $300!) Maybe it is clear in context, but all I see is graphic design tool.
| Positive Feature | |
| I like having the tabs here, all together, next to the other Ui elements. If you can do that in design #4 but not leave blank space on top, it is preferable. | |

| 1 | Bright action button on upper right. |
| 2 | UI features available; so better than number 2. |
Nice color scheme and design, but not clear what you are selling.
Minimize blank space;and arrange UI elements carefully. Graphic UI elements at bottom, and purchase-related elements on top.

| 1 | Sharing feature is excellent, but to highly increase the percentage of users sharing their art, I think you should use logos that everybody is familiar with (eg. Facebook share icon, Twitter share icon, etc.) |

| 1 | Try using different colour background with arrows.

Definitely Number 3. The one where colour palette is at the top and the "Add to Cart" button is at the right bottom, and the selected tab is darker.
Having to "Add to Cart" button on top I think is just too pushy!
Please see my other feedback marked.
Ohh, just realised that this was posted back in February. Sorry I found it while looking at your profile. Just getting used to CF.
The design is very simple/ clean and to the point. #3 works for me because the tabs makes more sense and the layout.
It clearly shows me that I am in the "Color" section and right on the top I can see the tools and options.
One thing I would do is to repeat the add to cart on top and bottom as well. If not make the CTA and price much bigger. Maybe 2x more. The font all over won't work. It's not friendly. It's not readable and not web friendly.

Clean, clear, and obvious user pathI think you're getting a good handle of usability. This form is fairly intuitive and clear. The tabs near the top are perhaps not distinct enough from the global 3 step structure.

The first one is bestCheck out buttons are typically after the product. Be careful with the tabs, they are slightly unclear.
The screen you posted (http://beta.juicycanvas.com/v1/BLUE/customize-v4.jpg) is effective in many ways. I wouldn't get rid of the clear call to action and I really like the process based tabs on the bottom. That's super effective. Maybe combine the two.
define "All" . it may get too busy. will try a pass. thanks for the feedback
