| 1 | The design of this banner really sticks out from the rest of the site, but not in a good way. Typography feels too spaced out, borders don't feel right. Doesn't make me want to read it to find out what it says. |

| 1 | I think that your primary banner area is really weak, and doesn't do a good job on conveying the purpose of the site. I would suggest trying to bring some of the content off of your About page and displaying it here in a way that made the site concept easier to grasp for first time visitors. Maybe even use a cookie to hide it from repeat visitors. |
| 2 | Since this is the only place a comment is directly linked to a story, maybe a dashed line here would work better.

To be honest, I had a bit of a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of the site, but once I found myself playing around with it for a bit, I actually found myself enjoying the backwards nature of it.
Happy to hear that once the ice was broken that you could enjoy it!
Communicating the concept of the site has been a struggle so far, since it is easy for it to be mistaken for a twitter clone or some kind of social network.
Thanks for the tips I'm sure they'll help to convey the concept better.

| 1 | too large |
| 2 | no visual cue to determine whether this is the entire article.
|
| Serious Problem on Post-Page.jpg | |
| 1 | magic button syndrome -- this is the only way of getting back to the landing page (from a level 2 page). I encourage you to have create a breadcrumb trail.
|
| 2 | I would think 'Search' would be more evident. My gut says, Search placement is incorrect -- and would be difficult to find in a usability test. |

| 1 | There is a significant visual affordance issue
http://www.usefulusability.com/increase-your-usability-and-website-roi-with-perceived-affordance/
My gut is -- you may have a time-on-task issues (user frustration over how this interaction works)
|
| 2 | You have a false affordance issue. Notice how there you may be introducing confusion by having words 'unclickable' in one section, and 'clickable' in another section of the same page (referred to as cognitive dissonance). This is problematic and needs to be corrected.
A quick usability test would validate my theory. You need to engage a user in 3-5 seconds. You should test using a trial license to Loop11 -- which is free for one test, and would be ideal for testing the live site. Essentially, after setting up the test, you send out to contacts (example Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin). http://www.loop11.com/ (watch the demo video)

Thanks Michael! I really appreciate all of the great feedback and introduction to new web design jargon.
If I still lived in CT I would have to sign up for some of your classes!

| 1 | This part is not going with the desgin, make it prominent |
| 2 | Need some improvements here |
You just asked me to review one of your concepts and yet you give blank review yourself. Very sorry but no.
If CF does not stop me to doing then why would I will be noticed about it,,, I'm new at CF. Nikos is very kind person.
This is definitely an area that I have been struggling with. I think that the orange is part of the 'affordance' issue that Michael has referenced. I will be experimenting with this today, and also look into utilizing cookies as you suggested below.
