| Minor Problem on TaskshotScreenshot.png | |
| 1 | Put your tagline below your site logo to emphasize what your system do. |
| 2 | Move new task button with the others. Maybe try embedding icons beside each actions. Add "search" functionality. |
| 3 | have a larger font size (maybe a a pixel larger) in your description |
| 4 | Move this below the navigation menu so that users could easily recognize each status. |
| 5 | try redesigning your site logo i don't think it would relate to program. |
| 6 | Start Now option should be placed in the start up page or is there other functionality to start with? |
| Positive Feature on TaskshotScreenshot.png | |
| 1 | layout is very efficient for moving tasks |
I'm looking forward for the implementation of this system. Try having a calendar or time tracking functionality that will display deadline for each task so that staff member could prioritize and manage their task accordingly. Cheers!

Dashboard contentDashboard should focus on recent activity and not all the tasks.

New Task PlacementSurfacing New Task in the navigation is a good idea.

Colors for task types1. Blue (not assigned yet) 2. Red (On Hold or not completed yet) 3. Green (Completed)
Good start.
Your design looks simple but lacks clear call to actions.
Call to actions can be created by using the right button labels and colors.
Example: New task should be a different color and stand out from the rest.
Good job!
I have to say that I've seen this concept done much better in other places so your site is comparatively far off of other products. Check out http://trello.com/ for an example of this idea done awesomely.
Couple of things I would look to implement: - Switch link colors back to a single color and start using labels to indicate a certain status, in this way a single task could have multiple colors. - You should be able to drag a task easily between categories and back again. Some tasks appeared to get stuck once I moved them. i.e. I moved something from Create to Moe and couldn't move back again, why? - Overall category status: individual tasks shouldn't take up an real estate unless I have a need to drill down to that level. What if I need 80 categories, I would much rather have an expand feature when a category stopped being green I could drill down
There is plenty of room for improvements with this idea as it hasn't been perfected, but I think you need to source some competitors and catchup on the 80% that you are missing if you want others to use it.
Thanks for the comments on the visual layout. Did you have any comments about using the system? I'll get a professional design later, right now I'm most interested in the usability/concept. Thanks!
