| 1 | My first reaction to this shape was Delta Airlines. I'm pretty sure I've seen it with other companies as well. |
| 2 | Font does not seem to match the word. |

| 1 | Sunbursts are old hat. Even when they were popular, they were trendy and not a good choice for a logo. |
| 2 | Swooshes are generic and over done. |

| 1 | This is the closest to fulfilling the requirement that the mark have a rough, rugged feel. |
What do you mean that your client wants an exclusive graphic profile? To me, this could mean one of two things: He may want a highly unique logo (which all logos should be, at any rate); or he may want an upscale logo. If it is the former case, then I find all of these logos to be mundane and routine. If it is the later case, then, again, I think these logos fall significantly short of the mark. (Based on your reference to Napapijri, I presume your client wants a highly distinctive logo; though, in fact, I do not find Napapijri's logo to be particularly unique.)
I think you would be best off to start over. Do some brainstorming to explore ideas related to Champs. Also, ask yourself what distinguishes his company from his competitors. This will help you understand the uniqueness of his company. Since his company provides two very different products, explore a purely typographic logo.
P.S. The link to the link to Hodnebo is not working, but I was able to find the site by searching.

| 1 | Not a bad idea to use a letter of the mark, and symbolic of arrow can be good but it needs to work on the symbol |

| 1 | Find more original font |
Hi Magnus, Your logos look older. I think you can suggest a rough style without a old fashioned look ... You have to find an original font, serif font for the style. You can play on lettering and colors in lettering (light gradient, shadow ...) As the company has many different activities, I find the symbolism of the arrow/pick up can be a good idea but you have to work on this graphic symbol.
Hoping this helps,
hi Mim Marie, thank you for your comments.
As commented above, I think I'll go for a purely typographic logo since my client has no spesific mainproduct or target group.
Magnus
MAN they are ALL great! for another business.....
bars, athletic footwear and the last one is a great golf logo.
You need to run away from things the look like the simplified heraldry of modern sports clubs and imagery that bolsters the meaning of "champions"(like up arrows and stars) because this is what anyone making a companionship logo will do.
hi Alex, thanks for your feedback. appreciate it.

Starsthe star could be a start for your concept to show the quality of service. | |
Hello Magnus,
To me none of these have a concept. You have to decide on a direction. Since most of the business of the company is offering services then you could work this angle. The star could give an idea to show quality, you could even try multiple stars too. But you'll need to explore other ideas, fonts, you can even try without the caps. At first if you're not sure, it is a good idea to start with black and white. I hoe this helps!
hey Marjorie. thanks for your feedback.

| 1 | this font with left-down logo? |
I think it really depends on the business and if they are looking to be professional or fun, or upscale, whatever. I would stay away from using the delta airlines logo, and go with the last one in the right column.
Reading that these logo are for coffe maker and shoeshine, I think the only design that resembles that would be the bottom left. As mentioned earlier, the other designs look more "Airline-line" and could possibly become misinterpreted without having a description as to what the company does.
the 3rd on the left. the rest of them is hard to remember imho. an every time you make a logo you need to make it epic :) dicard the triangle idea. it makes me think of startrek :) the serif star one would be a good choice for me!

Favourite is bottom left
Here are some guidelines to help you get started:
Concept Feedback is a mutual support community. Its purpose is to provide designers a forum through which we can give each other high quality feedback in order to receive the same in return. CF welcomes new members, and both invites and expects them to write substantive reviews. This is the same expectation that is made of all members.
Writing reviews with few or no constructive comments is called an empty review. It is a practice that is discouraged.
If you have not already done so, I suggest you take a few minutes to read some reviews that have been written by established CF members. There are many talented designers here who freely give of themselves by writing reviews that help their fellow CF community members. It is possible to learn a lot by reading their reviews.
Since CF is a mutual support community, many of CF’s best reviewers will look at the reviews written by new members before taking the time and effort to write a review for them. If a new member is putting effort into his/her reviews, established CF members are glad to write thoughtful reviews for them. On the other hand, if a new member is writing empty reviews, established members are seldom willing to expend their energies on that person’s behalf.
While there is no required formula to follow in writing a review (each of us has his/her own style), to help you get started, here are a few questions that you might address in a review:
Reviews that have already been posted can be edited. I suggest that you return to any reviews you have written that do not provide insightful, meaningful feedback and take time to rewrite them. This will improve your standing within the community and increase the likelihood that you will receive well written reviews when you post a concept. If you need help understanding how to use the review page interface, let me know and I will be glad to walk you through it.
Hi Tim. Thank you for your comments. I wanted to say more about the concept, but was limited by the amount of characters :) My client didn't actually want a highly unique, exclusive logo. I think more of a logo that says 'quality' with a nautical twist like Napapijri, it's not a very elegant logo but it has this feeling. I also found some inspiration on www.berkeley.se. I've been checking out the word 'Champs' but the business is not into sports, and he didn't want to be too much 'college'.
I posted these sketches because I've seen myself blind on this project, couldn't decide what to do next, so I really appreciate your feedback and try some completely different.
I think I'll follow you on a purely typographic logo, and maybe have a graphic element as a independent item.
thanks again. Magnus
