Serious Problem on PicLyf.png 1 Consider renaming these menu-items, because what does popular mean?? Critical Problem on PicLyf.png 1 This is unclear. You dont state anywhere that people are creating an account. You should make it more clear. 2 Use logo's here (makes the site look more trustworthy) and link to the specific pages. 3 You state here: "What you get" but when i read your items, they dont tell me anything about what i get. You should make it very clear what people are getting, not in vague terms but in things people can understand. You get: Free blog, 500mb of free space, Easy blog editor, etc etc. What you now say is: What you get ..... simple, easy and really fun./ What you get.... tell more & share better.... Positive Feature on PicLyf.png 1 This is wasted space in my opinion, its just a photo. The order of your site is now: Menu, Tagline, Photo, Sign up. People need to know for what they sign up or they arent going to do it. Give them unique selling points and explain very clearly where they have ended up. 2 This is great! Maybe give it a more prominent position 3 This is great to, you also might want to consider giving this a more prominent position. -

I will write a quick review now since i have to go to an appoitment. I will later extend it.
Okay as promised, here we go, some things for you to consider:
- This site lacks information above the fold i think this is the most important issue. If your goal is to show that you have a great picture of people smiling, then its accomplished. But your goals are differten. Spend some room on letting people know what you're about. Answer the following questions: What can i do on this website? Why should i do it on this website and not one the 100s of other sites? How can i participate/get an account? What does it cost me?
- The how it works section is good, but not clear. I dont get the idea of "how it works".
- The overall idea and uniqueness of this concept isnt clear to me. Maybe you should work a little more with examples. Amaze them by showing them what makes you different then the rest!
- The rest of the points i wanted to make are allready in the notes!

Minor Problem on PicLyf.png 1 This feels awquard in the sense that it feels out of place, maby make it wider? 2 The color is all at the top, why not end with some color to? New Idea on PicLyf.png 1 Why not make this more visually appealing like making the photo blog a different font, bold? 2 Make some bigger and other smaller to create dimension. 3 Move this up a little over the images Summary:
I like your approach, can appear a bit busy. But overall I like it. I would suggest you work more on getting the message across better, make the Free part bigger, people want to see in the first few seconds that they do not have to pay, it will get more people on your site, it is an important part of your communication. Have a small "signup now" at the bottom also, just for emphasis and to push them to action.

I think you have done a great job... it looks live and refreshing to me.

I did a quick revision to show how you can add logo and try to add spacing in your design.

Serious Problem on http://piclyf.com 1 too empty? can add something like advertising Minor Problem The background is too plan after the main header. You could add a pattern to it, or divide it in more segments with different colors. The text headers are too simple, you could put icons before each blue text, or use a more stylish font. Positive Feature Looks great!
It's very beautiful, I'll add some ideas I had looking at it.New Idea The "Tour Popular Login" menu could have a more stylish font or maybe bars separating each text Borders or drop shadows around the images on "What you get" session would look nice too.
