| Minor Problem on landing_page_E.jpg | |
| 1 | A bit too white. need to have a little less "light" falling in, but I like the overall idea. |
| Serious Problem | |
Brown OutBrown is a difficult choice. It is not very inspiring and not very appealing. I would stick with the blue. | |
| Serious Problem on landing_page_E.jpg | |
| 1 | The amount of light rays and their brightness over powers the text and the scene. Soften them. |
| Critical Problem on landing_page_E.jpg | |
| 1 | The text is too hard to read and needs to have better contrast against the white light rays.
Whit and light blue on white and light blue is a very bad idea, Even if it has some aesthetic sense it is meant to be read and this the most important thing. |
| Positive Feature on landing_page_E.jpg | |
| 1 | Like the way the grid creates depth in the image and a sense of space. |
Stick with blue and get more contrast in the text - it is very important that it be legible. I like the direction once you tone down the light rays.
I love the depth the grid creates
Would I sign up? I am not your target market so I can't say for sure but I always judge a page by "What is in it for me?" does it answer that? To me - again not your target market - I do not see why I would want to give away my name and email. Again consider I get 75-90 emails a day as it is and I am on way to many mailing lists so I may not be a good sample.
With that said I do not find the inspiration in what the page presents though I would likely mark it as a "read this page later" page and then see what happens.

Sell the Conversion GoalThe main message doesn't communicate what value or benefit you're going to deliver. I get that you're delviering something "new" to the scene. But that doesn't mean anything. The fact that it's new doesn't make me want tp give you me email or pull out my credit card. You should tell me what I'll get by joining, and why I should want to give my email.

You need to sell me a reason to opt in. The design looks good, which translates to creditably. But Credibility does not persuade people to take the action you want them to take.
Thank you Danny for taking the time to provide feedback, the persuasion is one of my critical things that I want to optimize for so I would really like to hear further suggestions if you have any.
Also the website uses a mechanic that each visit helps unveil more information about the project, the first piece of info will be set to be unveiled at 1000views. Do you think that we should unveil the first piece of info from the start or wait to get 1000views? please let me know your thoughts.
Thank you!
Hey Gradinar,
I would add the text like it is in the attached picture. Of course design it nicely. Also you can use human faces on the page to reduce bounce rate, and manipulate the things that people look at. You might want to read this, to understand how to use pictures of human faces better: http://socialtriggers.com/how-images-affect-conversions/
This is a great example of the principle I'm talking about. Just look at all the pictures: http://usableworld.com.au/2009/03/16/you-look-where-they-look/
You can use the line of site of a person to make people look at the headline that sells the optin.
I would use Page B, I would get rid of the cool design in the background to reduce noise for the viewer, and make the focus of the page the head line. Clarity trumps cool when it comes to conversions. I would use a human face on the page to look in the direction of the title, and to reduce bounce rate.
Also a long standing direct response phrase for use on the button is "Get Instant Access" That can boost conversions, and also I'd use a shrinking red button too. Here is an example from my swipe file: http://screencast.com/t/DXBxvjmdEZ8
Also, release the full benefit at the start of the website. The threshhold at 1000 views is just going to slow down the rate of learning about what's gonna convert your visitors and make them take that conversion action you want them to take.
Wow! Thank you danny for the valuable advice, got some good pointers in there that i will try.
Although the human image is a nice idea and I've actually seen that article a way back, however I don't think that Inserting a human figure on a coming soon page will work since I don't think it will look professional, maybe its a little cheesy on such a page but on a landing page....sure! if you add your product next to that person.
I was actually thinking of moving the facebook widget thats at the bottom to the top so people can see that other people have liked the page and join.... but I will have to sacrifice the message that describes whats it all about, in order to achieve this. What do you think? will it help or its more important the message?
Also could you please let me know what you think about the way the "What you will receive" is layout and expressed?
Cause i was just about trying to take a vertical approach to it and use some icons for each benefit but this basically makes it look like the how it works. This actually brings me to another question: what do you think its more important in order to increase conversions: - have a bigger area that describes the way things work( the 4 colored circles) and accentuates the idea of sharing, collaboration (the current version)
-or have a bigger area that describes what you will get for signing up?
Since as I stated I'm experimenting now with these ideas.
Also please feel free to share any tips/ideas for the landingpagecontent if you have any, basically this is the area that once the people signup will see. It acts to get people sharing, inform about the progress they've achieved together and compete with each other, the 2 images on each side of the bar are actually other members. Also at the bottom there's the unlocks system to make their sharing have some kind of meaning.
Sorry about the long list of questions but as I said this is quite an important thing for me.
Thank you in advance!
| Minor Problem on landing_page_B.jpg | |
| 1 | Are you trying to make me think that it's written on paper? |
| 2 | You need to tel me more. A free pro membership? What is that? Bogus ring bell, when I need to signup before you will tell me what I get. |
| Serious Problem on landing_page_B.jpg | |
| 1 | Shadows a too dominant |
| Positive Feature on landing_page_B.jpg | |
| 1 | This is great, form this into a easy to understand sentence just above your CTA button. |
| 2 | Buildings and blueprint grid is a nice way to visualize what segment you are aiming for. |
| 3 | Nice to see people if I'm signing up for a community. |
Drop all your bubbles, light, shadow, peeled paper effects. And tell why I should reserve my username.
Thank you for the feedback Michael some quite good points you've mentioned.
Should I replace the 4 icons that display how it works with 4 icons that lists what you will get by signing up? and form the how it works into a sentence.
Also what do you think about the user area(last image)? are the colors ? does it encourage you to share?etc
Yes it's motivating but as long as people don't know what they share, you gonna struggle to get shares.

| 1 | Icons to large, make background darker for some depth. |
| 2 | Make this also a bit darker to the back |
| Minor Problem on landing_page_content.jpg | |
| 1 | Looks to much like a finance business. |
| Serious Problem on landing_page_B.jpg | |
| 1 | Too many layers, some needs to stand out more than others. |
| Positive Feature on landing_page_B.jpg | |
| 1 | I like very much, nice touch |
| 2 | Love it |
| Positive Feature on landing_page_E.jpg | |
| 1 | This works better |
| Positive Feature on landing_page_connection.jpg | |
| 1 | My first choice, nice clean and clear design. |
I like your creative ideas with small elements, The overall feel is you are trying to hard with to many elements. I don't know where to look have to search to much and force my eye to focus on something. Have some navigation going from important to less important.
Thank you for the feedback Hendra will take your suggestions into consideration!
Thank you Robert for the feedback, I will take it into considerations all the things you've mentioned.
I would also like to ask you if you would came across this page would the design inspire you to signup? and do you think it's ok for the architecture niche?
Thank you!
