He's the best, the problem I have is the font, it's ugly not lazy!
So I would research some better fonts, try lobster/ bello /chunkfive /ultra… experiment with fonts, that will help the design!
Good Luck!
Stay with the first choice. The second sloth looks sad, and the mark in the third choice is too small.
Biggest area to work on is the mouth. Make it larger and happy. (But not the grin that is on option 3). A single, thin line is not enough. I'm sure you have already looked at plenty of photos of sloths, but I am uploading an image that I think has a good mouth.
Add a pupil or highlight to the eyes to brighten them. Don't use the pupils from option 2, as they are too sad.
There is a more fundamental question to be addressed and that is the name. Massage relates to relaxation, renewal, and reinvigoration. It is not, in my opinion, about slothfulness or laziness. If at all possible, discuss this with the client. You will be doing him a favor, as lazy is not a positive concept upon which to build a holistic practice. You will also be establishing yourself as credible branding expert.
Love the Sloth (:
thanks man, this help me a lot :).
Wow that photo! That's scary. I THOUGHT I knew what a sloth's face looked like, I guess not! LOL

| 1 | Agree with comments below, font choice not working well. Use something rounder as your icon has a round feel to it.
|
| Positive Feature on LOGO_LAZY-MAN-3.jpg | |
| 1 | Getting lost in the icon. As with photo below it is strong part of the sloth. Also when used small it vanishes somewhat. |
Overall I like the color usage, the icon looks great to with the frame around the face. Just some tweaking with the mouth I would suggest. Leave the other 2 samples. Not nice.

| 1 | confused by the circle with the square on it what does that mean. In other words the shape is fairly meaningless ... unless it is just a zoom out feeling which does not really work. |
| 2 | I agree with Arran about the fonts ... this is confusing because it is a mixture of lower and upper case. I particularly dislike the A. I think you should have a play around with some different ones. |
| 3 | Don't like the blue version |
| Positive Feature on LOGO_LAZY-MAN-1.jpg | |
| 1 | I like the use of green and black ... nice colours. |
| New Idea on LOGO_LAZY-MAN-1.jpg | |
| 1 | Much better sloth! I like his expression now. |
I think you could have a lot more fun with this logo. I agree that there should be a laziness about the fonts or the sloth.. a hammock sounds like a useful concept to play with.
This logo does not really tell you anything about what they are about. Massage ... can the sloth be being massaged or massaging?
Would help if we could see some of your 20 other iterations ... so we know what your client does or does not like. It is much more helpful if people can understand how you got to this ... i.e. your design process!
Mucho Suerte Feliphe !
Lisa
I like the colors, but wondering if you could use a different icon. Perhaps try inverting the colors and doing away with the teardrop effect.
My though is that if the sloth itself was green with a slight outline it might get the message across a bit more directly.
Good luck!

Panda FaceThe third picture looks like the face of a panda rather than a sloth, and although it makes me smile, the first picture carries the theme of laziness best, and it's bigger and simpler.
| Positive Feature | |
Love the fontThe font looks like it's drooping and makes the mood of a lazy man complete, it works amazingly.
| New Idea | |
The Second Picture Doesn't WorkThe second picture looks more sad and unfortunate, than lazy and good going, so I'm going to rule that one out as the best.
The second picture looks more sad than lazy.
The third picture makes me smile and looks morel like a panda than a sloth, and is too small, however the first one is great and carries out the laziness idea.
The first logo is my favorite.
The colour green works amazingly but could have a little gradient.

TypefaceI am not a fan of the typeface, for me it's not the case of wether it suits the identity etc... It's more that I think it's pretty ugly! A contemporary sans is a great route, but maybe a review?
I would choose Sloth 1, as it looks more happier. But I would review the mouth, the thin line stroke seems to not be working.

| 1 | Nice attitude in this icon |
| 2 | I like green with black combination |

| 1 | Maybe you could try another font? |
| Minor Problem on LOGO_LAZY-MAN-3.jpg | |
| 1 | Spacing is a liiittle bit too wide, just to be picky :) |
I love the colours and the font. It's clear and humorous. Love the mascot on number 2!
| Critical Problem | |
| i didnt get that it was a sloth! maybe cuz im not very familliar with it.. maybe try an other icon | |
| Positive Feature | |
| nice color combination, like the idea of adding an icon | |
altough im not too familliar with the soloth bbut option 1 seems the most aproprate, maybe try a diffrent i con
I like the design other than the sloth but realise this is the part you are struggling with. The first looks the best but i wouldn't have known it was a sloth. Does it get mentioned anywhere else? if not it can be very abstract
i like the first.. smiling with optimistic..
but i don't like the font... you should change it.. :)
| Minor Problem | |
| Great idea with the sloth, complements the logo well. I would work on the mouth. | |
| New Idea | |
| maybe replace the "A" in lazy with the sloth but obviously redesign it so it resembles more of an A. | |
| Maybe have a sloth hanging from the "y" | |
Overall, the first logo definitely looks the best. the logo looks professional. I would experiment with the font a bit more and the sloth. The sloth is the focal point of your logo and you really want to put emphasis on it.
I dont think the font is portraying the concept, its too upright and stiff to protray 'lazy'. The graphical element at the end is just not working for me.
Wow, 'sloth' is hard. I can't visualize a 'sloth face' in my mind's eye. But I can picture a sloths long claw feet and slow movement.
Trouble is I'd have to say that a LOT of people will have trouble visualizing a sloth.
My approach in reviewing your logo was to look at it and to see if I could decipher what the symbol was at the end of the "lazyman" text. I could not.
Have you tried interpreting 'lazy' on your own and then presenting the options to the client? A beach bum in a hammock? A guy at a desk with his feet up?
Your points are valid for some of the North American market, however we can't assume that it's necessarily for Canada or the US.
Feliphe, what country will this logo be used in?
