| 1 | Too big lettering ! reduce the size and have a larger picture. |
| 2 | Have a larger picture! restaurant websites should be appetizing ! |
| 3 | This doesn't looks like a logo. Have this in a different color and a slight gradient to standout. |

| 1 | This area is too plain! you should make the visitors to read these and explore more! try to bring in some color or have some pictures. |
| New Idea on home2.jpg | |
| 1 | Would be better to move the search field and these icons into the navigation bar. you can have the navigation on the left side and these on right side. you can save some space by doing this. |
| 2 | I don't think this background color would go with a seafood site. the yellow is ok but this is not to me :) have a look at this also - http://www.le28thiers.fr/ |
Great looks and good use of homepage space. Just that the colour 'sky blue' could be changed to something else
| Critical Problem | |
| - Put the map in home
- list items front | |
| Positive Feature | |
Simple layout- Direct messaging... Nice two color usage
| New Idea | |
Logo- have a nice Logo - have a Slideshow

| 1 | I agree with the other reviewers - this nav is too big and too distracting. The navigation should be big enough to be recognized as a way to go places in the site but small enough to forget about it as a visitor focuses on content. |
| 2 | Use white space properly, put a little bit of space between this chunk of text and the image, possibly and equal amount of space to that of the image and the Description and History text. |
| 3 | Good color scheme although this bluish background does not really make the page pop from the strong yellow background and muted blue background. |

| 1 | Maybe justify the text a bit so they are easier on the eyes? Just a thought. |

| 1 | Nice font here but try to play it up a little. A nice example is marie callender's http://www.mariecallendersmeals.com/ |
| 2 | This is a really good call to action. But it is too plain for me. I like that it is clean but you can still try to make it look more engaging so users would want to click on it. Perhaps a little form that asks them what they want to contact you for? |
Straightforward way to present an equally simple business. Please look at the notes and give them a thought! Thank you
I don't get the idea you're trying to get across to your viewers.
If this is an online brochure/menu, for that purpose its fine. Because the font is big, its bright and easy to read.
I guess I understand that you made the nav menu so large so that it shows in a handheld device.
If 'responsive' or 'interactive' is what you're shooting for hear, I don't see that in action here.
Should there be a place for users to enter their email address so they can be updated on restaurant luncheon and off-night deals?
Perhaps there's an entry page that asks for email address in exchange for an appetizer, coupon, cocktail or 2 for 1 deal?
I guess what I'm saying is, besides being able to READ your menu, what other reason compels me to visit your restaurant?
What's the interior look like? How do I dress when I go there? What do the people look like who frequent your establishment? Can I find a fine wine here? What makes you stand out from the pack of other seafood restaurants? Why shouldn't I just go to Red Lobster? --- Sorry, I couldn't resist putting that in.
Yes, the 'plating' of the food gives me a clue. But why make me guess what kind of establishment you're running.
Tell me about where your fine seating and cutlery originate, the art on the walls...whatever makes your place special....tell folks about it. Or better yet, show it in photos.
Ooops, looked again at your target market -- "Restaurateurs"...aah. in that case, hard to judge unless you tell us what message you're trying to get across to them. Cheryl

Communicate my experienceWhen I go to a restaurant site I look for three things - 1. What type of restaurant is it. From this graphic I can't tell if it is an elegant restaurant for a date night or a more casual restaurant. What is the ambiance (pictures can really help here)? Second, I want to check out the menu so I don't take 30 minute so look at everything when I get there. Third, I want to see more pictures of the food to see how it is plated and what looks most appetizing.

Menu on Home page?Is this really the menu on the home page? If so...I would move everything to "Menu" and use this space to communicate my experience.
When I first saw this page I thought it was for a recipe website. To me a restaurant is all about the experience that you have there with the people you go with. I would suggest adding in a picture that involves people having a good time in the restaurant.
The problem with this is that it looks more like a print ad than a webpage. I think you need to look at a lot of examples of websites for restaurants. I also have a tenacy to make my starting point of websites look like print work, just because its what I do more, its a habit.
If your going for a website that looks like a printed menu then this would work, but its not going to get a lot of attention. Feels like I am reading a magazine.

| 1 | The Appetizer header, plate name, and description all blend in together. This needs to look less like a block of text |
There are a few problems with the responsive design.
-The navigation drops to two lines and looks unnatural. You can easily have 4 links side by side on a mobile view. Drop the text size when the browser gets small enough.
-At about 380px wide, the search bar overlaps the logo.
-I also don't understand why the logo and description are align the the left instead of the center when in mobile view. Maybe perhaps to balance with the searchbar, but it won't always work. You're designing for multiple mobile devices, not just the iPhone. The header will not look good on other devices
