TypoThere's a typo on http://www.solutionloft.com/?q=node/7. Look for the phrase "then when can start".
Where's the tab?If you're using tabs, then every single piece of content on your site either needs to fit under a tab, or the tabs needs to disappear altogether. Create user for example has no tab. Forgot password has no tab. Monthly archive has no tab. Blogs has no tab. This makes the site look and feel unorganized.

Looks BoringIt needs to look for more interesting and really it needs to look more professional. It needs to look like a large corporation hired an expensive web design company to build this thing. It needs to look like there is a team of help desk support personnel standing by. It needs to look like a million bucks. Content is king, but if it looks like a couple of guys just threw it together, nobody's even going to investigate the content.

No FocusThe main problem with the site is that I don't know what it's for. I get that you're hoping to get people discussing problems and collaborating for solutions, but what's the topic? I see you have some computer related tutorials. Does that mean this site is for discussing computer related issues only? Is this a developer forum? And I'm not looking for answers to these questions here, I'm trying to make the point that your site lacks focus. I've been looking at it for over ten minutes and I still don't see your vision for this site. The typical user won't even stick around for ten seconds if you don't draw them in. If you're leaving it open to any and all topics then you should at least guide the users a bit by creating some default categories, to put the user at ease that it's o.k. to discuss this particular topic on this particular site. As it is now, I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about relationship problems, mechanical problems, technical problems or the kind of problems that have plagued mankind since the dawn of time.
OrganizationThis is related to my other point in that your site lacks focus. Tabs along the top are great for grouping content into manageable and understandable blocks but you've totally abused the system. Newscorner has no point. Why is it there? If you want to post news related to topics under discussion then the news links should branch off from a page where the topic is being discussed. If the news is just random, then why wouldn't I go to cnn.com? The same goes for the Tutorials tab. If I was looking for a tutorial on house wiring why would I go to SolutionLoft, click on the Tutorials tab and scroll down and down and down to see if there is anything on house wiring? Again, the tutorials have to be attached to a topic of discussion. The same can be said for docushare. The publishers tab should not even be a tab, unless I am totally missing your vision for what will eventually be on this tab. It seems to me that this should be a discreet link somewhere in the footer or perhaps the header called "Earn Revenue at SolutionLoft" or something similar that really gets to the heart of the matter. But it is not the main point of your site. Compare it to the "Become an Affiliate" link at the bottom of amazon.com The point is you want to entice people to submit their expertise, so you have to appeal to their wallet. Tell them they can make money and they may come. But it does not deserve a tab of it's own. Eliminating some of these unnecessary tabs not only would make your site be less confusing, but it would help direct your users to where you want them to be. I would spend my focus on creating a type of "solution central" where topics are organized, and within each topic there are branches to external links, documents, articles, tutorials, videos and whatever else you can think of that people might bring to the discussion.

Clean & SimpleThe site design is clean and simple and that is good. Unfortunately, that's where the good feedback ends.
It seems to me that you should have spent much more time envisioning this thing before you started building it. What is it going to look like? How is it going to work? Why will people come?
I still don't know really what you're trying to do. Do you know what you're trying to do?

i see your site online,is good and clean..Just need some smal correction and will be ok..
I suggest you try and get a much friendlier design for this site, and it all comes down on how you create your tutorials. Use images in your design and articles.

| 1 | Add more social sharing options, like Twitter and Plus 1. |
| Serious Problem on http://www.solutionloft.com | |
| 1 | Links styling needs to be improved significantly. Use borders, arrows, paddings, maybe a background color. |
| 2 | Too much space between the post and the meta information. |
| 3 | Spacing |
| 4 | Play with the buttons style more. Add a border radius, better paddings, gradient, get inspired on various css sites like cssmania.com |

| 1 | Use space wisely. Don't leave big empty spaces here and there. Think how much width you need for the sidebar. |
This site looks like a good idea. Design needs to be improved significantly yet still remain very clear and simple. On the homepage, apart from the slogan in the logo, you don't really have anything about the site, what it is, what it is used for, how can I be a part of it, what it gives me and it misses a call to action.
The overall look is almost like a default CMS template, like a default Drupal or WordPress theme. You will need to improve the colors (add some gradient perhaps), use of space, menu and logo. Logo is at this time really really horrible. What about the fonts, what about the spacing between the text and colors of the sign?
This reminds me of a blog site in Drupal. I kind of have a feeling you set up the site in a system and then decided to play with css to see where it goes. Open Photoshop or Fireworks and start to draw it from the scratch. You will honestly hardly get a respectable result just by altering the css here and there. Draw it!
Thank you for all of the criticism. I'll try to overhaul it soon.
Thanks, this was by far the best feedback. I'll try to really change it around. Great points, unfortunately, all too true
