The website doesn't look bad, but I think that I miss some kind of 'accessibility' in the design. I'll try to explain what I mean: visitors have to get a connection with the website in some way. They have to feel connected with the website, this is the way you can make a website more interesting for new visitors. I think the black background in combination with the many green fonts and graphics don't do this trick.
Besides that, I'd like to ask how you want to make this website more popular. There are already many websites like this one, so I think you could better think about a new concept. This is hard to do, but I'm sure it will pay out.
My advice about the idea and the design: try to make it more 'one part' and make it more accessible for visitors. Great examples of what I mean could be found at for example Dribbble. Try to reduce the many green colors as well and make sure there is space for advertisements, if you want to make money with this website. And try to find a new concept, because people are only interested if a website has got something new or so.

Seems maybe just a little cluttered, specifically at the top. I'd consider moving the "Recent Posts" section over to sidebar if you can make room for it and expand the "Featured/Main" article to fill in the gap.
Positive Feature In my opinion the site is way too long. But the color choices are great. Wish i had an eye like that for color.
