| I liked the organic concept of the logo, but I'd use some softer font for the name and I woudln't make all of the letters caps. And colors are nice too! | |
actually I reviewed once more the font and it looks organic too, but I don't know maybe you should try it non all-caps as I said to compare. It's very nice!
The logo is very serious. I prefer the one with the blue circle. Shame that the main green (around the sheet) is much darker ...
Indeed, it is quite serious. Which green are you speaking of 'around the sheet'?
Yes!

| 1 | People recognize words by their overall shape, if you use all-caps, they cannot. Advise standard or all-lower case text. |

| 1 | I do not like the turquoise version. |

| 1 | SWEET! This is really cool. |

GraphicEither remove the lightest shade of green or make it a perfect circle. If you keep it, make sure the outside and inner circles are 'perfect circles', with the outside being the biggest. Then adjust the 3 rounded 'cone' parts(lack of a better term) to be the same shape and same distance between each other.
The graphic part would look cleaner if it was more symmetrical, as described in the tip.
Get rid of the blue version. Colors don't work together.

Beautiful LogoI think the green version is the better choice.

Resize the leafIn my opinion it would be more aesthetic if you make the leaf inside the circles a little bit smaller. Its a little bit to close to the border i think.
The font is a good choice, simple professional. I like it. I would have gone with a different type of leaf, one with more shape and a simpler clean cut outline. Also, there is much of the background to your logo that isn't being used. The way it sits now, I don't know which part to remember, the shapes or the leaf. They need to meld together and not be so separated.
I think you've gotten the right color scheme with the added blue. There's a certain "justice" that people perceive with the color blue and in this case not only does it provide a conceptual upgrade to your logo, but makes it visually stand out more as well. After all, what's the point in having a logo if it isn't recognizable right? Stand out. Hope I wasn't too harsh. Overall it's the perfect concept for this company. I hope they plan on redesigning their website before the new client comes on board!
I can see why you have a hard decision between the two colors schemes. The first one (darker colors) feel more professional and has that earthy color. The 2nd one (lighter colors) has more of a casual feel. I also think that shrinking the text of Mr. Erwin's title looks better and more formal. I like the 2nd one since it's easier to approach than the 1st one.

| 1 | like this size sub heading the best |
Like the logo overall great design... would love to see you use the smaller sub heading text
Wow this really is a cool logo! Professional and playfull at the same time. I like the first one best. I also like the overlap of the green layers very much.

| 1 | Leaf definitely needs cleaner outline possibly a different vector in entirety. My preference would be to drop the leaf entirely and play with the shaded sphere - 3 to 5 circles in green of different opacities overlaid on each or along those lines. To me the leaf is far too obvious / cliched a statement and it actually demeans to me the ideal of a consulting ecologist (it seems too clumsy a statement). I'd look to something more subtle with a less direct reference. |
| 2 | Overall I find this right - left justified alignment difficult to work with when you apply the identity to a number of different mediums. That's just me. But I'd play with aligning all left, all right (object to the right of logotype) or logotype with object top right hand corner. |

| 1 | Looks to me about the right font size, character spacing, and weight. In the other sample this text component is too font size too small and in my view will get lost in smaller applications of the font. |

Loving itI love the way it all comes together, the font works for me I would leave it as it is in number 1. Just one small thing that might need changing is the icon can be more closer tot the text, make it look like part of the font, same space as between kevin and erwin.

GraphicThe multiple layers of color surrounding the leaf could become distracting.
Overall, a great concept. I definitely see the ecology aspect in this design and the choice of type is quite appropriate considering what type of company will be using this logo.
Thanks Akin. I'll explore upper and lower case for the name. We're pretty settled on the font, but I'll think about it still.
