Minor Problem on Iota Phi Theta - Howard University 2011-06-08 19-41-15.jpeg 1 Maybe try moving the crest to the left side and shorten up the darker section of the header so that the crest extends down out of the brown section. I can't really see whats happening in the collage and those photos may be better used somewhere else on the page. The Menu text is a little hard to read, partly because of the text color, partly because of the all caps, and partly because of all the Greek. The menu items could use a little more space between them also. 2 In each event, the date is the most prominent element. I think it should probably be the title of the event. Maybe increase the size of the event tilte font and use a subtler calendar element. Not as much as you have on the about page, just a few sentences so I immediately know a little more. It could even just be a slogan or a tagline. (ex. "The fastest grwoing fraternity for cake enthusiasts at Howard University.") The text here doesn't provide a lot of useful information. I don't think you need the word "Home". Summary:
Its a nice start, but I think the layout needs to be reconsidered. Prioritize the three elements on the home page. The picture is taking up a huge amount of room, but I don't know what the significance of the picture is.
Positive Feature Style
I like the style. It is classic and gives a good seriuos impression.
