| 1 | These should probably sit lower than the logo. |
| 2 | This could be bolder and could switch positions with the image switcher. |
| 3 | I am not a big fan of centered text. Aligned left would make this stronger.
|
| 4 | With the green bar it pushed the images and into the background. I think you should drop the green bar here.
|
| Serious Problem on Team_Tactics_Latest_15.53_20.05.11_Full_Page_Web_Design_05_11.jpg | |
| 1 | I think that the titles of the four sections should be stronger than the "more" links.
|
| 2 | I don't know how serious the blog is for this site. It seems like making it stronger, adding thumbnails images and not using italics could be good.
|
| 3 | With all the bold green headings and well organized grid the footer feels weak in comparativeness. Make it bolder. A background texture, reversed text, strong outline, text-shadows... The footer just needs to be bolder overall.

| 1 | Should the slogan be aligned right? It could be better left, perhaps even center. Its unforunate that it takes up two lines.
|
| 2 | I think that you could really use an emphasis color. Say, orange text on white background. |
Plus: Great use of the a grid. Clear headings. Disciplined use of color.
Minus: Needs an emphasis color. The footer needs to be bolder.
Nice work!
Hi Tai,
Thank you for your time & detailed review. A few of your points have been discussed with stakeholders and already introduced into a revised concept. Namely:
1/ Making the top links horizontal, smaller and sit further down
2/ Left aligning slogan
3/ Improvements made to footer
;) thanks again

| 1 | this shadow effect is not working, the image still looks flat and I don't understand why you would want to have that type of curved effect on an image gallery.
|
| 2 | these menu items don't need to be here. It almost seems like you are trying to place as many key words on the page as possible. But they really look out of place in the header area.
|
| 3 | This looks like a click-able button, is that the intention??
|
| 4 | Right alignment looks awkward. Separate the tagline somewhat from the logo itself.
|
| 5 | these header areas would be much better with a different font and made to be actual headers
|
| 6 | use a different icon, and once again, this font just isn't working. |
| 7 | these are not bottom aligned with each other. And they really don't need to be made into buttons, a simple "read more...." would suffice. Repeating the subtitles isn't necessary. |
| 8 | lose or change these icons, they aren't necessary. |
| 9 | not necessary |
| 10 | wasted space |
| 11 | these logos add no value to the page, and the way they are placed looks amateurish. Instead you could have a "Clients" link, or maybe even make a side bar column to place a few of them. |
| 12 | make this into a fat footer, with an offset color. are the partnership logos necessary, or could just text suffice?
|
| 13 | right alignment looks funny.

Hello Sahus - This is a big improvement from the current website, however it still needs work. I do like the layout and the use of colors, but the typography is really bad, there are alignment issues, and overall, the page is just not engaging enough. Please see my notes...
Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for your time in reviewing this concept. Your detailed points deserve an award review ;)
Cheers, Sahus

| 1 | This text is probably too long for a header. It looks more like a giant button.
|
| 2 | There's something awkward about the alignment of these boxes |
| 3 | These lines are pointless, remove them
|
| 4 | It gets a bit crowded around these logos
|

| 1 | This section could really use some sort of call to action. "See our work" or "Learn about us" or "Tell us about your event", etc.
|
| 2 | I would get rid of the green bars here and just use blue text as the initial header. Change the buttons to green, so that the green becomes more of an emphasis color.

| 1 | Never a huge fan of centering in Web design, but I think it works okay. I still wonder if it would look better left aligned.
|
The layout of the page is done nicely and the site looks good as a whole.
What's missing from the site is a bit more engagement. The desired user action is not all that clear, and can leave us a bit confused. I think the colors are good, but are not used all that well. The green and blue do not clearly define certain areas/actions as well as they could.
The footer could use a bit of work as well. It's pretty easy to just ignore it.
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your detailed review on this concept. It's much appreciated as many points were valid and have already been introduced into a 2# revision.
Cheers, Sahus

| 1 | Problem or Idea - i like the idea of placeing this links in header, but i would suggest to make it normal weight. I have feeling that they are to strong. |
| 2 | Check menu: Hospi/Staff/Teambuild/Events
now Check 4 boxes in middle: Team/Staff/Hospital/Events.
You have inconsistency here, swap Team with Hospital boxes in middle |
| 3 | If this link redirects to page/place where others say about this site/company in pros -> this link should be moved below testimonial , as a natural step forward for same functionality. |
| 4 | I see, that whole this line is wider than whole rest, but that is just bad alignment. There is no reason why this box is wider than rest is it? (if this look better, and you already checked - forgot that i ask :) |
| 5 | To intensive color for me. I would use blue (buttons) or bg color from rotator below header |

| 1 | I make it serious, becouse just now i noticed, that there's a phone number! lol:) I strongly suggest to put this number on white bg. Or at least make fonts bigger. Right now, my eye is more catched by grey Search |
| 2 | I dont know it this is becouse of poor quality, but i have strong feeling, that this green bg and white headers arent good match. Itss little hard to read them, aspecialy comparing to rest of text on site , which has great visibility. To be honest green+blue isnt best option for me (but this is for sure subjective thought) |
| Positive Feature on Team_Tactics_Latest_15.53_20.05.11_Full_Page_Web_Design_05_11.jpg | |
| 1 | Love it :) |
| 2 | Just a notice, your using best place for text on site, for testimonials. Is it justified? If from analysis, this came as high prior, its ok. But i would swap blog post with this testimonials.
1. Your showing only 1 testi...you could show more at bottom (1 is just...i dont know, not enough creditable?)
2. Why swapinwillg, blog post will be visible in fold. Of corse styling is needed (but you handling it very well, so im not afraid). Blog post should in normal circumstances (im guessing that this testimonials isnt so much of importance) have much more value for visitor, then just 1 sentence.
3. Testimonials and Partners near footer , will be more close by meaning - better placement for this kind of info i think. On right you'll have visual testimonials (well know logos are creditable) and on left some additional testi - with text now. Combining those two have to be better than showing them separated. |
| 3 | Like it. No bullshit, just all what is expected in footer:) |
| 4 | Icon with + means that you may be allow to add ssometthing. Try using sth else, like brain, or light just flashing.
To be honest, icons here are totaly useless, they mean nothing, and they interrupt to catch header name fast (i wrote in other note, that this heaers should be bigger or sth) |

| 1 | Like it, but i would love to see this text in 2 rows. |
| 2 | Next to Like it, some thought. What about users, who didnt saw header links with all necessary access to static pages?
It shouldnt hurt to make thin box from left to right, below actual footer, and add there something. If not some links, maybe some "funny" text? Like : If you're looking for footer links, try checking top of the page. Here's a link to help you >> "
And of course clicking is moving page to top:) |
| 3 | Not saying its a problem, dont know how analysis went. But in most cases, i would make link to Blog more visible. If you'll change testimonials as i wrote, you should think of moving link to blog, to this left box header part (where now is this single testimonial) |
I like the design in general. I pointed out some errors/mistakes/inconsistency etc. 1 effect is still very good thou, dont mind that i wrote a lot. My notes about colors/design take by 1/2 im a system designer , not a designer :P Cheers
ps. I would use green and text size in header/green headers same, or close to Submit Review button here on this site:)
I like the overall layout, and I think it's organized very well. My issues are mainly with the header and the footer.
The header looks crowded and barren, all at the same time. I wish I could explain that better. The flat green of the logo and the flat green of the nav bar are the main culprits of the barren look, I think. The elements that lead to the crowded feel are the things in the middle of the header (the housekeeping and miscellaneous links).
As for the footer, it's too squashed vertically, and too heavy to the right visually, especially considering the visually heavy right column above it.
Hi Rose,
Thank you for your comments. All parties involved agreed the same that the header and footer needed improvements which have now been introduced into a #2 concept revision. We may repost for further feedback...
Thanks again!!! Cheers, Sahus
Agreed we have made the top links smaller and horizontal fitting on one line and lower down ;)
