Hi Aaran,
I like your illustration. I think its cool and pretty fun looking. My only concerns are nit picky stuff.
I don't like the transparency in them. You can see the bottom parts of the adults clearly thorough their kids, but you can't see the kids. Can you make them completely solid? The transparency also makes it look like the dad is biting the kid's eye..... Which is fine depending on the circumstances. :)! But it can also become somewhat irritating after a while of looking at it. However, if creatures from their planet are suppose to be see through, then its all good.
I guess because I've been seeing your work so much of your design work, for so long I have high expectations for what you post.
BTW, are the creatures made to be see through? I wasn't sure.

Keep the transparency to 2nd layer onlyThis isn't even a necessity but only an idea. I notice that in a few spots your transparency shows down to the third layer. maybe you could have it be 2nd layer only. It gives some confusion to the eye in a couple of places. I'll show those on an individual basis below.

| 1 | Here you have the red blob over the blue over the green. You can see the shape outline of the green monster through the red. Maybe it would make it appear better not to see down to the 3rd layer here. |
| 2 | Same situation here, the red blob is over the green with the pink blob in the back, I can see the outline of the pink shape through the red blob when the pink is the 3rd layer in this instance. |
| 3 | Same thing here the blue blog is over the green which is over the red and I can see the outline of the red blob all the way through the blue. Maybe this was intentional but I think some of the complaints about transparency would resolve somewhat if you don't see a 3rd layers outline all the way through to the top layer. |
I think I disagree with a lot of what I've read from other reviewers. This is a really cool concept and I love your layering. I feel the transparency gives it a sort of gelatinous feel which is pretty typical amongst blobs. Being a pretty big RPG geek, I've seen tons of blobs and they are typically slightly transparent so I think this serves well. The only idea I have for how you might can improve the layering I've listed.

| 1 | I like the heavy line separating the background from the elements. But I would make any lines that are contained in the blob of blobs. Look at the density of the line on the glasses as compared to the line of the new blob. |

| 1 | Maybe you could add a diffused texture or slightly blur/warp the parts of blobs seen through other blobs. Right now the edges are opaque but flat glass like. |
I really like this illustration! My initial reaction was that the parent's are really hoping for a a 2 eyed baby :-) So I think that you should keep that playful element.
If your looking to do more I agree with Patrick that you should create minor differences between the different blobs.
That's odd ... I thought I posted after Patrick .... :-)
It's a "cute" illustration, but the characters need some character! Make their teeth, or the shapes a bit different for each one and it will be much more interesting.
I also find it interesting that the bottom left creature has normal eyeglasses, while the other two only have a lens per eye. Doesn't seem to make much sense.

Hide Legsmake character not see through at the bottom and see how it works
Over all I like the concept.
how do you hide legs when they don't have any?
I think hes talking about the bottom parts of the creatures.
I was just stating to make all the character more solid, so the get an individual presents for each one
