Minor Problem on simplimize.png 1 These two images strike me as being a bit flat. They look a little more cobbled together than the other ones. I understand what you're driving at, but they're missing something -- particularly the one with the browser icons. 2 Your font choices feel a bit confused to me. If your'e going to use Helvetica in your footer, I think the sizes (particularly of the headings) ought to be more distinct. For my own part, I would probably keep the Lucida headings in the footer for consistency's sake -- especially since you've also used it in the global nav. 3 Might want to consider making this a little larger or stronger given the size of your rotator/slider. I think the heading gets lost a bit. Positive Feature on simplimize.png 1 I really like the slider/rotator. Nice and big, and the next/prev buttons are well placed. Summary:
Overall, I like the simple clean structure and color palette. Nice design. Just a few small adjustments and I think you'll be ready to go.

i like this theme. very simple and clean. probably a good idea (i'm sure you're planning to do this) to make a range of color variations. maybe icon for the subscribe to rss feeds. looks similar to many other themes on the market, but maybe the full theme might have some differences. good luck!
Minor Problem on simplimize.png 1 The spacing here is a little unbalanced. I would either shrink down the spacing of the header or add more spacing to the content area to separate it from the header. 2 I like how the updates is tucked in. It's easy to find without being over dominating. However, how important is the blog to this template? May be you should a list of the 3 most recent posts, so the user can see them without having to scroll down. Positive Feature on simplimize.png 1 Excellent footer. Like Robert Monti, I quite like this design for the same reasons. The colour pallet is pleasing and modern without over dominating the design. The clean strong grid structure makes the piece easy to navigate.
The real star is the Flash image slider, which will add plenty of appeal and make this design standout from all the other clean layouts.

I love the big red slider with the big shadow. It really pops. It also makes the top nav and title/sub less noticeable. If all the important things a first time user needs to nav through are in the slider, then I think this theme will work great.
