| Minor Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | Make the whole thing bigger, add some more vertical space between logo and tagline. |
| 2 | "Careers" is too close to the guy, add more space, maybe reducing the text a little bit. |
| Serious Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | Just kill the guy's shadow, it's just adding noise to your nice and clean design. Mask the guy to remove it and then make the path look like it's really floating in the air. |
| 2 | This is kind of empty, I remember brochures having some contact information on the back, like phone number, email or website. |
Hi Harleigh,
This is a great start, I find it really interesting and modern.
Please refer to my notes for more feedback.
Keep up the good work.

| 1 | Like someone else said. Move this away a bit. |
| 2 | I agree, this can be a bit bigger |
| 3 | Maybe align this with the fingers. So increase the size until its aligned with the fingers
|
| Positive Feature on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | I like the whole thing. But maybe move the line a bit further than his finger. That way it shows the student following the line instead of reaching the end with his finger. |
| Other on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | Maybe put the lines on the back? Spruce it up a bit :) |
Its a nice idea and well executed. If you want to fine tune it the reviews posted are a good place to start.
I'm not sure if I'm a fan of removing the shadow tho. Now it looks more life-like instead of a made up place.
The step idea is a nice touch! Only shame is that theres nothing in the picture (except the logo) that shows its for law students. Could be any education at this point.
| Minor Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | His finger should be above the career. It looks like he is drawing this on the wall, so if he is his finger should be above the red circle and not below. |
| Serious Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | Careers Guide 2011 spacing feels a bit off. I don't think any of the type needs to be larger Careers and Guide can be the same size and together to allow more space. IT looks good on the bottom right, just give it more room to breathe! |
Good start!
Shadow for me is a big distracting. I see you worked with different sources of light in this shot. I think it needs to either be lightened up, or remove the shadow. It is just way too many shadows to be realistic for me.
If you cannot remove the shadow at least lighten it up so it would look bright and cheery for print :)
> I would also like to see law society and what is your next step spaced out evenly from the left and right as it will be on the bottom right. If it does not look right then give it more room to breathe as well.
All in all I think you have a great start, I love the wall texture its just the darn shadow is too dark for me!
I look forward to your next version!
I want to give you a 4 for design, forgive me I will when I see the type handled a bit better! Good luck!

| 1 | Difficult to read |
I like this a lot, but I have to agree the shadow throws you.
For a second I started thinking it was an intentional piece of the design, something stating there are multiple paths to finding a job. Might be cool if you had some light grey lines running to dots represent by the shadow hands on the right all from Griffith.
| Minor Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | this finger looks kinda cutoff. |
| Serious Problem on Left to right: Back cover and Front cover (white depicting spine) | |
| 1 | this shadow is making the stairs like it's floating in the air. try adjusting the hand or the shadow of the had... |
Hi Harleigh, This is good image and colors.. I find the colors are really yummy. Nice combination of flesh, pink and blacks. In my opinion, the overall concept is alright but doesn't have really an impact. The finger touching the points gives a techno/futuristic effect, I'm not sure if it's appropriate for law students.
