Minor Problem Header maybe taking up to much viewable area? Serious Problem Content area unloved Positive Feature Nice Header section Summary:

I like the header in fact the whole top section works for me although might be a little on the high side the top section probably takes up most of the initial viewable area before scrolling down.
Where the design falters is the content section it seems like you got off to a great start with the header then began to loose interest in the content section. Once you have given some more design love to this section you will end up with a good overall package.

Minor Problem on main1.jpg 1 Not sure why this is labelled quick links? Is there such a thing? I'd probably change this to search and have some default text in there that provides information on what they can search for e.g. search for events, people, colleges etc 2 Ensure you can read this information with no scrolling so that the user knows there is more information on this page than just an intro banner Positive Feature on main1.jpg 1 Love this! Too many sites have video's in modal popups New Idea on main1.jpg 1 www.samsung.com/uk have a really nice way of doing this background changeover - might be worth a look 2 Not sure on your take for SEO, but might be worth having a here
3 Make the header a link, this will help with SEO - make it look like you can interact with it. There is a lot of text at the bottom of here, having it underlined can really help it stand out. 4 Not sure how many of these events people would attend, but it would be great to add them to my google calendar or outlook by clicking on a button. Also, might be worth showing as a calendar instead of a list? Or having icons to categorise events for quick searching Summary:
