| 1 | I like the contrast in size here more, and that the combination of the two shapes fit well and naturally here. I think this might be my favorite o this page (unless you unlock the hidden potential of the triangle that is) |
| 2 | I think what I am seeing in your sketchbook is that AZ morphed Z into a bolt of lightening?
I kind of like that idea, and it might be fun to play it up more.
Mt. Olympus? Zues? Greek-God like-creativity? Sharpness? Breaking planes? High Contrast? Bam! Good design :) |
| New Idea on IMG_2420.JPG | |
| 1 | The triangle on the top row - far right. I think there's some hidden potential in that one; it feels more dynamic than the trapezoid looking A. The trapA just feels a little too blunt for the sharpness of the Z.
Perhaps with a sharper A, the Z can mesh in the negative more naturally. |

| 1 | What if the Z / lightening broke the plane some? Broke up that shape? Feels a little stiff I think, even with the dynamic zig zag. |
| Minor Problem on az_logoweb.jpg | |
| 1 | I like where are you going on these approaches but I think you need to play more with negative-positive shapes. Simplify more, need better use of geometric elements. |
| Serious Problem on az_logoweb.jpg | |
| 1 | azcreative won't be readable if you need to scale down your logo, usually the smallest size for a logo can't go less of 25mm/1inch. There's no need of the thin outline, it won't be visible if you scale it down anyways, |
| Critical Problem on az_logoweb.jpg | |
| 1 | This one is not accurate for a logo, too many elements, to many different styles, I think you definetely have to get rid of this one. I'm afraid the rounded sticker is not a good call from my perspective. |

BoltWould be good if you can relate the bolt somehow with the brand, maybe in the legend e.g. "azcreative - powered ideas" (lol, I know it's bad, but just to get what I want to say). | |
Hi Aaran,
Seems your are going somewhere with this stuff, but still lot of work is needed. Please see my notes.
What always helped me to design logos is a squared paper, you can trace some nice constructive guides that will make your work much easier and they're going to lead you to a more consistent design.
Find attached a a quick mockup, I just wanted to show you how you can simplify your art playing more with negative-positive shapes.
I hope this can help you to improve your concept.
Rock it. Eze
Thanks Eze, peace.
No probs, bro.
yeah I guess I could try that...
