Hi Vitor
In general, I think the overall concept is very appealing. The soft blue and green colour palette contrasts well with the grey and (black?) chocolate, giving a calm, restful appearance. Should suit your target audience well.
Regarding the logo, you're right to question its appropriateness.
My feeling is that the symbol has no connection at all to horses, horse breeding, horse management or even the business name. Or if there is, I can't see it.
I don't think there is necessarily a problem with the plain Helvetica typography, but I would recommend changing it to something more evocative when the new symbol is designed.
If however, you're stuck with the logo as is, I would simply make it smaller.
Hope this helps.
The logo is a little unclear. It looks like its a combination of letters, but I can't quite tell which letters.
I think there is a little too much room at the top, above the green menu bar. Other than that, the layout is great. I like the subtle texture and very "clickable" buttons.
The bottom section with the four horse pictures doesn't look entirely finished, compared to the blue box in the top right corner.

LogoTry a letterpress effect on the logo? or make it smaller and put into a circle??? | |
For your client it seems like a very nice design. Clean, easy to use, with the focus on the horses. And a big impossible to miss call to action button, that doesn't clash with the design.
Very good for the job it has to do.

| 1 | I really like the subtle texture you used on the header |
Overall I really like the Layout. Good color scheme and images. The only suggestion is using a subtle gradient where you have the black BG. I feel like the change of color from gray to black is very sudden. All in all this is a very nice design.

| 1 | not powerful enough for the topic - and the dramatic colors used in this site |
| 2 | Add a fat footer |
| 3 | too much copy - should be cut back by 70% to be more scan-able |
Good luck!
Try to add a brighter shade of green or just incorporate one or two more colors with images to add up to the website's feel.
I agree that there are a lot of problems with colors!
Maybe it's better trying add some more bright colors? Green looks like a grass in November, top bg doesn't contrast with no one design element. Brown bg is also not a good decision.

| i didnt get the idea behind that swirl picture or water mark on the horse's picture at the top?? what does it present? | |
| Positive Feature | |
| The overall concept is very clear and the pictures and designs are very appealing as well keep it up | |

| 1 | I find this area boring and unattractive/empty... |
| 2 | increase use of footer, maybe try using some testimonials and other persuasive stuff |
| 3 | for what is this pagination used? |
| 4 | try reducing this copy |
| 5 | I dont know what purpose has this... Are these horses for sale? or...? |
| 6 | I am not that fan of centered align |
hey there
Generally my feelings are like this is somehow unifnished or empty... It looks average, withour leaving any message... But I really dont know what to suggest here... (I m sorry)
Anyways, I have addes some notes, hope that helps...
Good luck ;)
Of course they help Martin, your feedback is always appreciated.
I will make some changes to the header, i already have it in my mind just need to put on the paper.
The pagination is used to change the image and also the center aligned text in the box.
About the footer, is a bit hard to use something like testimonials, the website is supposed to be more like a showcase of the horses with their story.
Im trying to convince the client that his website have more potential, but I think Im not that good with words :S
Anyway thank you for your feedback Martin :)
Hi Steve, thanks for your feedback. The logo is supposed to represent that piece of steel they use to mark the horses, they use it probably because more than half of these business here use it, what is a shame, as long as they could have a really cool logo.
