Good composition, but too the product and text need more focus, right now it all your frames and background witch is in focus.

| 1 | Although not traditional, but interesting logo placement. It seems you have a reason placing it there since there are 3 menu items on the left, and 3 on the right. Just keep in mind if the client changes it's mind and adds another menu item, as it will be tedious for future updates. |
In general the design is very consistent with the chosen style and I do like how the colors and design elements are combined. Makes an excellent impression!

But if I'm on your site and can buy these products, then just "shop" or "browse" and leave the "online" out of your nav bar link. |

Well, I get why you're getting mixed reviews. The overall feel, I think, is in the right direction. It's warm, "crafty" and looks handmade. So it should appeal to folks who are looking for handmade items.
But it's a bit of a mess overall. There are too many elements competing for attention. What you want is to create a design that allows the crafts themselves to be the focus, and you want them to really stand out.
I like the idea however maybe it would be nice to list the latest products or top sellers below the main banner and have a seal/logo to demonstrate that you guys are eco friendly so as to save space. It can be a mouse over logo/seal.
